Bloodghast . The artwork is very cool and beautiful, and it suits very good the the card, it gives me an idea of something mystic and dangerous, and a little tribal. I was thinking about River of Tears , but Bloodghast is the best.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite all the way. This piece of art conveys the extremely rare yet powerful sense of sublime, that is, the simultaneous and contradictory feelings of breathtaking beauty and unspeakable horror. This card's art really makes me feel the same way I do when watching natural disasters: we're struck by the beauty and grandeur of nature, yet we're horrified by the death and destruction it brings. Feeling both emotions at the same time produces a very disturbing and interesting result. Elesh Norn's art is that powerful to me.

@reedrocks: Hahahahahaha! Don't get me wrong, Word of Command is powerful, powerful art. I just always laugh when I see it or see it mentioned because it is just a pair of eyes against black! Nothing else, the artist just said "Yep, that'll do it!"

And those eyes...it's like they are both squinting and looking at me disapprovingly while I pick my nose. I wonder who the eyes belong to? Stewie Griffin?

The MTGO Word of Command thingy is pretty epic too. Does some semblance of justice to the original.

Ooooh, either Emancipation Angel , Shriekgeist or Skinrender .

Emancipation Angel just looks sublime, I put her in any white decks I have just so I can look at the art.

Shriekgeist because the holo highlights all the right areas for that ethereal undertone (and because I made my abacus life counter out of shiny shrieks).

Skinrender because who doesn't love the Alien franchise? ;)

My next vote goes to a truly epic and beautiful piece of art:

Otherworldly Journey .

The target is shown having traveled most of the way into the kakuriyo, the spirit world, and meets a giant turtle. Who wouldn't want that?

I'll have to go with Vanishment . The card is pretty bad, but the art with the butterflies encircling the zombie-looking guy is very flavorful and I always stop to look at it.

Honorable mention: Shimmering Grotto (not the Lorwyn one).

Terese Nielson does some amazing art. I mean, just look at the Guru lands. She does cool stuff with cards like Call to Mind too.

Ah, how I wish I had a set of Guru lands to get signed. :(
