This is a beautiful list. If it's still open, I would like to add All Is Dust as just an all around breathtaking artwork.

looking at Angel of Despair from old ravnica, doesn't the black moon look like Merciless Eviction from the new ravnica?

My vote goes for Terror . To start with, it's probably the coolest depiction of an ouroboros I've seen anywhere. It's such a bizarre, nightmarish card that it really makes you stop and think. Even in a world where things like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn , Bone Mask , and Mind Rot are commonplace it is still such an outlandish and haunting card.

Macabre Waltz also deserves a mention on this list. Though I personally prefer Terror , waltz is always mentioned when some one asks about the most resonating, shocking, memorable, or unsettling card art.

Gifts Given

It has my vote.

Seems silly but I can't help but stare at it for 10 minutes or so. The colors work so well together. She looks very real, and all the art just flows. It's become my all time favorite card. I plan on making a deck based on it.Moonfolk are beautiful creatures in general. It's a very peaceful card that makes me sigh (in a good way).

Smallpox

very dark art, and even darker flavor text, also made me love playing suicide black!

Even though it's ended, I think the original Rafiq of the Many, it shows completely the majesty he embodies. Oona, Queen of the Fae. Soft pastel colours draw out the beauty of the card. Anf finally, Slave of Bolas, the enlarged version makes it abundantly clear why. http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs43/f/2009/122/6/b/Slave_of_Bolas_by_SteveArgyle.jpg

I'd like to nominate/vote Gift of Orzhova I just really love the coloring on the stain glass wings. Ive heard the foil looks even more amazing, but I have yet to see a foil version in person... Either way, I just really love the art of this card.

Commander's Authority is a clear choice for me. It's beautiful how the artist can work with the light in this artwork. It's so perfect!

Wurmcoil Engine - really like those sharp edges reminds me of Sauron+ worm, and also it looks like a bit as a Transformer so it can disassemble into two pieces
