I'd have to say these cards would have my vote for possibly the best cards ever.(Not in any order): Ponder - While preordain is extremely good to the point that it got banned, this is an even better card that allows you to shuffle if you don't like your cards on top, making it so much better.Sensei's Divining Top - Once again, that scrying is incredibly powerful, with this allowing for a three card scry every turn you wish, along with draw that card right away.Tarmogoyf - There's a reason it costs so much and is so desired. This might be the greatest creature ever printed. Also, I'd like to ask why it says "besides the Power 9" and still includes Ancestral Recall and Time Walk, which are a part of the Power 9?

Well Idk about you guys, but Storm Crow is a BEAST. He flies high over even the strongest eldrazi! (seriously, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre should really have reach)

Well in order to cast most of all the best magic cards you must pay mana. So does that really make those cards good? Some people say islands must be the best best since blue is the best color in magic. They are wrong, yes blue is the best color in magic but that doesn't make an island the best card. The card that I believe is the best (and I'm surprised it's not on here yet) is Black Lotus. This card lets you cast any 3cmc card you have in your hand on turn 1! That means you could play Show and Tell on turn 1 and bring out Emrakul, the Aeons Torn with that! And to top it off you'll get an extra turn after that! That there is gg I don't want to play with you anymore. That is why I think Black Lotus should be the best card in magic.

top 3:1: Terastadon, (in commander) because its effect is as close to control as green can get2: Ornithopter, because in an affinity deck (take mine for example: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/how-to-be-a-dick-with-ornithopter/ )it can be a win condition for 0 mana, and its fun to see how pissed people get when an ornithopter kills them on turn 3.3. Bloodchief ascension, because in a mill deck, if is hilarious to watch people take 20 damage from glimpse the unthinkable

I think kaalia and Zurgo Helmsmasher are both great for EDH, but I think Zurgo is the best, It is a beatstick that people worry and complain about when it comes into play, it can kill things and get stronger.

I don't know how much support this will get from everyone else, but Opposition would have to be the ultimate "control" card. Unless it's dealt with, it basically says that you decide what abilities your opponent can use, what lands they can tap for mana, which creatures they can use to attack, which they use to defend, and even more. I think I'll tap my Storm Crow during your main phase to lock down your Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . I think I'll do that all day.
