It's hard to choose between IslandMTG Card: Island and SwampMTG Card: Swamp since they both set you up for so much, so I gotta go with Underground SeaMTG Card: Underground Sea!

I believe the best card ever is Goblin HeroMTG Card: Goblin Hero, especially the rare version! ...JK

The best card I think is Wolfir SilverheartMTG Card: Wolfir Silverheart. That card is going to be a powerhouse in standard. An 8/8 for 5, great, plus an extra 4/4 on any of your creatures, fantastic.

If I were to pick 3 of the most overpowered magic cards ever printed my list would look like this... (in no particular order)

1.) Jace, the Mind SculptorMTG Card: Jace, the Mind Sculptor: As its been stated in previous posts this card does SO many different things for blue at once that he's the ultimate card advantage swiss army knife. His popularity among the pros speaks for his power.

2.) Force of WillMTG Card: Force of Will: This card single handedly defines the most brutal, expensive, aggressive format there is. If you aren't running a playset of Force of WillMTG Card: Force of Will odds are you probably aren't going to win.

3.) Sensei's Divining TopMTG Card: Sensei's Divining Top: This one might have been questionable as "most powerful card ever printed" a month ago. But with miracle cards being announced I suspect that the infamous top will be banned from the rest of the formats that it is currently allowed in. This card rivals the great Jace, the Mind SculptorMTG Card: Jace, the Mind Sculptor in how powerful its ability to dig into your deck is.

1 surgical extraction. (oh you forced willed me? that's ok let me see how many do you have...)2 force of will. (duh)3 place is split whit oath of druids ( oh nice little bird do you have... it's my turn? so let's triguer oath of druids ability and oh my a blightsteel colossus. ) AND stasis. ok she has a nasty upkeep cost. but ho played against it must remember the pain it was. and today 7 or 8 years after the first turbo stasis deck i guess a deck with it can dominate the laegacy format. and by the way i beat 2 power nines with my turbo istasis deck (with out kismet)

You guys are all ridiculous.

Storm CrowMTG Card: Storm Crow is hands down the best card. I once had a deck of 60 Storm CrowMTG Card: Storm Crows and nothing else. I never lost.

I also never played, but that's just a formality.

Also, it combos incredibly well with Storm CrowMTG Card: Storm Crow.

Knight of the ReliquaryMTG Card: Knight of the Reliquary and fetch lands

May 2, 2012 11:51 p.m.

I'm going to have to go with...

1, Phyrexian MetamorphMTG Card: Phyrexian Metamorph- he copies any big creature threat on the battlefield and can even copy a devastating equipment or Annoying artifact.

  1. Venser, the SojournerMTG Card: Venser, the Sojourner- he is breakable to the max and makes ETB cards broken by being on the battlefield. He is the epitomy of battlefield manipulation: bounce, unblockable and exile. 'nuff said!
  2. Phyrexian Obliterator MTG Card: Phyrexian Obliterator - a HUGE beat stick for black that needs to be either countered, exiled or avoided. There aren't many other cards in standard that I fear more than an obliterator.

Dat NecropotenceMTG Card: Necropotence first. It's the best draw engine anyone can think of.

Secondly, Force. For obvious reasons.

Tertiarily, may i suggest Doom BladeMTG Card: Doom Blade? arguably the most useful card ever.

I absolutely love CommandeerMTG Card: Commandeer. Whether this is a power card or just a personal favorite, I'm not sure. What I do know is that I'll gladly exile my BrainstormMTG Card: Brainstorm and Spell SnareMTG Card: Spell Snare to steal Jace, the Mind SculptorMTG Card: Jace, the Mind Sculptor from you. Or NecropotenceMTG Card: Necropotence. Or your ChannelMTG Card: Channel-powered FireballMTG Card: Fireball.
