Have you considered speeding up the deck by playing Simian Spirit Guide? I believe the deck could really benefit from a T2 Percy off a T1 Summoning and possibly T1 Superion.

Rite of Consumption and Abyssal Persecutor definitely belong together. I personally like having the chance of a turn three kill though like in my Demon deck Demons Kill You in 3.

I hadn't even thought of the Spirit Guide. Totally gonna try to find a way to fit it in. Might cut a couple lands. Ideas?

Night's Whisper is infinitely better than Sign in Blood.

APPLE01DOJ says... #5

Not true. Sign in Blood can kill the opponent. Night's Whisper can't.

But how many times will that be more useful than the card draw? Not many, if any.

It draws you the same amount, that's irrelevant argument. The only argument is casting cost vs reach. Personally if my deck needs double black anyway (and in this case triple black) I would always take the reach.

I've never piloted Rakdos Fling but I've played against it and those little tiny burns and pings win you the game.

Any Shadows over Innistrad cards seem like good fits for this deck? I don't see a lot outside of adjusting the landbase.

You could run Bone Splinters and take out the Dreadbore's. Still removal, cheaper, and it can take Percy off your board. Overall a really nice build. +1 from me.

A cool card to add could be Bazaar Trader. Although it can't do anything too aggressive, you can give your opponent Abyssal Persecutor or Goldnight Castigator. If they have the castigator you can deal a crazy amount of damage when your opponent isn't expecting. Also abyssal would be self explanatory.

I love the idea of using the Trader to screw my opponents, but it dies if I have Heartless Summoning out. :/

deleting my comments won't make your deck less terrible <3

April 22, 2016 2:25 p.m.

But it will make you slightly less annoying.

If you have specific beefs, talk about how to fix them. All talk no action is useless.

I just have a problem with people downing a deck for no good reason. Like, Magic is a TCG, played for fun. If you don't like a deck, cool, don't play it and don't put yourself in a situation where you feel you must tell someone that their deck is awful. Let's be honest, most brews start out awful. Example: KikiChord, once an unheard of deck, with a little nurturing, it's become a solid tier 2 deck that can win matches and tourneys. Maybe this deck is awful now, but that's not to say it will remain that way. I'm not in the camp of thought that this is terrible, in fact, I'm the kind of human being that plays combos like this to cheese my opponent out of the game (multiple Nahiri, the Harbinger and a single Emrakul, the Aeons Torn in W/r control). This deck has potential. It's not just straight up awful. If you think so, that's cool and all, but you don't have to continue to tell OP, once is sufficient, if even that. If you want, you can, however, provide constructive criticism.

He deleted my comment with constructive criticism.

I'm not sure if the fact that he implemented some of my suggestions makes that better or worse. Definitely makes it funnier though.

I must say, Great deck! Pranker0, I played it against my land destruction deck and i truly must confess, Heartless Summoning paired with the Abyssal Persecutor was too much for it. Close game. Very neat deck. Have you tried Grimoire of the Dead?

Pranker0 says... #20

No, I haven't tried that yet. I'm not sure what I would take out for it. Any suggestions? I do like the idea that it can help when I run out of gas, as per the normal aggro crux.

1 beseech the queen and 1 Terminate? Possibly run two and see how it plays out.

Have you considered Wurmcoil Engine? They seem like they would be a good fit.

Death Cloud? More sacrificial junk anyways- possibly with aMyr Retriever/Grim Haruspex engine. Possibly something like Arcbond as a finisher to clear the abysalls?

May 23, 2016 11:38 a.m.

I personally love Seizan, Perverter of Truth as a 3 mana 5/4 card engine. I also love Heartless Summoning, I have an infinite combo deck based on it. Another suggestion of you can't get rid of Abyssal Persecutor - play Desecration Demon maybe.

May 28, 2016 10:46 p.m.

put in Desecration Demon If they tap it, it's okay as it gets bigger and they lose a creature, but i would side these out against token decks. (as a side note, put Pyroclasm in the sideboard for those decks?
