I ended up not playing Heartless Summoning because it's a little counter-intuitive making your entire deck weak to Dismember.
Anyways if you want to consider a ramp/stompy option here's how you get 3x Desecration Demon by T3:
T1: Land, Birds of Paradise
T2: Heartless Summoning (using BoP) -> Sylvan Caryatid (Who just costs now)
T3: Desecration Demon using 2 lands, Phyrexian Metamorph, Phyrexian Metamorph.
Yay 15 power in the air T3! After that you just want a Consecrated Sphinx for fuel.

keng, hate to say it but HS kills the birds. Its 10 power.

Yeah I know after the T1 bird you don't need it. Later on you just cast them and have more creatures to exile for Skaab Ruinator.

Goldnight Castigator -> Avaricious Dragon for fuel?
August 20, 2016 3:42 a.m.
Hmmm... I might have to try out the dragon. The Castigator has been kinda troublesome for me, lately.

@ Faraven Dark Ritual would be amazing if it was modern legal. As it is, it was never printed in a modern legal set. :/

Why you aren't using Smoldering Marsh instead of or in addition of Blackcleave Cliffs?
It's legal and cheaper :)

I could run the marsh, but I only have 5 basic land in total. It wouldn't enter the battlefield untapped often enough for me. On that note, I have been considering Foreboding Ruins because Blood Crypt counts for it in addition to the basics I'm running.

You didn't understand me. I wanted to say remove Blackcleave Cliffs and put Smoldering Marsh.
If you do that, the price of your deck will be about $70 less.
Both cards have the same habilities.

Ah, okay. I see your point. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending how you look at it), I already had the 4 copies of cliffs from when it was only $5 per card, so I didn't view your comment from a monetary standpoint. Your suggestion would be, however, beneficial to others who may be interested in building this deck for themselves. Thanks andresfm

Made a few sideboard changes.
-2x Slaughter Games-2x Rakdos Charm-1x Illness in the Ranks
+3x Tragic Slip+2x Surgical Extraction

Night's Whisper is infinitely better than Sign in Blood.
September 2, 2016 9:08 a.m.
I've gone back and forth between Sign in Blood and Night's Whisper. I only have one mana-producing land that doesn't produce black mana, so the mana cost difference isn't substantial to me. I give the edge to Sign in Blood. If this deck's mana base was more red skewed, I would definitely go with Night's Whisper.

Really fun deck. Massacre Wurm might be worth looking at, as well as Thundermaw Hellkite.

Or even Demon of Shady Schemes as its very similar to Massacre Wurm. It's a new black mythic card coming in Kaladesh.

This is a cool deck!
Have you considered Goblin Dark-Dwellers? With all of those low-cost Instants and Sorcieries it seems like it could be useful.
+1 anyway, this is pretty awesome

Seems like a sweet deck. Any way to squeeze in one more Simian Spirit Guide? That turn 1 Heartless Summoning can be so backbreaking. Possibly take out a single Fatal Push.
