Ah true, maioflw. I really have to get some testing in on this deck. I'm finally getting my box of M15 tomorrow and already have the SDE's so hopefully I can get some paper games in soon. I've been doing a few games online too.

With the exception of Curse of the Swine , none of your nonartifact spells cost more than 3 mana. You shouldn't need any more mana acceleration.

@ GoldGhost012 -- True, I guess I have more filtering now with Thassa to make sure I get an Engineer out. I'm just worried I'll be way too slow without the Engineer. I'm also considering moving the Phyrexian Revoker to the SB and replacing it with Generator Servant . I'll have to see if I need the Revoker as an Ensoul Artifact target or if I'm in need of an additional blocker. Ah man I have a lot of testing to do hah.

I don't like Swan Song . I don't like giving my opponent anything haha. Negate covers more targets for just one more mana..

My playtests feel slow and clunky. It's good if it gets going, but it doesn't really ever get going quickly. I definitely suggest trying those Generator Servant s.

About to do some games myself. I'll let you know how they go. Hard to decide between playtesting and Scandal.. damn that show is addicting... Plus all of the other shows I have to catch up on.
Generator Servant in place on the revokers? and maybe Negate as well..
July 23, 2014 7:47 p.m.
You have 14 artifacts and 8 cards that need artifacts to work so I don't think moving Phyrexian Revoker is the way to go. Perhaps aiming a little higher in that spot? Something like a Juggernaut to put some pressure on your opponent. Or splitting Generator Servant and Juggernaut .

Isn't the deck a bit slow? Have you played it with various deck before? Please let me know about it. I'm kind of interested in U/R Artifacts. I like your take on making it bluish. +1 from me! :)

I missed a few steps of your deck building process, so sorry if it has been asked before. Why exactly did you Switch out the 2 Trading Posts for Blade Mail? Having the TPs would help greatly with recycling your SDEs with Shrapnel Blast. Also any specific reason you have Drastic Hybridization?

Dartez, Post was just too slow. The advantage is would be generating would be coming about the same time the deck would be winning. HMP gives him a choice of being a creature when he has no others, a fairly substantial Equipment when he wants it to be, or a pretty nice Ensoul Artifact target.
Rapid Hybridization is hard removal, something fairly hard to come by in these colors, where it's usually burn, counter, or bounce.

Thank you GoldGhost012 for answering the above questions. And maioflw, I count 24 artifacts including the Revoker.
@ AttentionDeficitDisorder -- It's either really fast or really slow, hence the discussion about Generator Servant .

Deck is still missing something to make it run more consistently...it's too inconsistent and "ify."...I'm thinking -1 Thassa, God of the Sea -3 Curse of the Swine move Phyrexian Revoker to the SB and remove Elixir of Immortality and Tormod's Crypt also exchange the Searing Blood with Magma Jet
add +2 Generator Servant and +2 Juggernaut ?
Just throwing it out there...not sure if that would fix it too much...

Will update posts and stuff tomorrow. Remind me Doomed_Traveler77.

For me it's either very quick or rather slow. I definetly believe Generator Servant will help. I don't really like Juggernaut as much, but I'll try it out to see how it goes. Still doubt that he's a viable replacement for Revoker.
Also 3x Thassa is a bit of an overkill, I would definetly drop 1.(sorry about the formating, I am on my phone)
July 31, 2014 5:32 a.m.
@ducttapedeckbox so what do you think of instead of Curse of the Swine usingAEtherize mid to late game finisher use theBident of Thassa to make all thier creatures attack and bounce all attacking creatures back with AEtherize

If you like to work with Bident of Thassa maybe you could try Polymorphist's Jest instead of Curse of the Swine to block them all dead?
August 1, 2014 12:38 p.m.
Definetly like the Bident and AEtherize combo.. may be to mana intensive though.

The change for the Polymorphist's Jest s in place of Curse of the Swine has been made. I just put this deck somewhat together in paper. I'm not looking to get my hands on Thassa's either. Replacements?
I'm going to throw an AEtherize in there to see if it works.
August 9, 2014 9:11 p.m.
Thinking about replaching the Bidents or all 3 Thassa's?
August 20, 2014 9:40 a.m.
ducttapedeckbox says... #23
@ Dartez -- All 3 Thassa, God of the Sea s. I'm focusing much more on EDH now and don't want to throw $20 at her for a deck that won't see much play.
August 21, 2014 1:42 p.m.
I don't know I would definetly remove 1 but all 3 could be too much. But if you ain't gonna play it that much I can understand why you don't want her, maybe smack in 3 Generator Servants?

So...Ugin's Nexus looks like it'd be a fun thing to Shrapnel Blast

@ GoldGhost012 -- Another reason for the Drum was that it's ramp for my non-artifact spells. So I still think I need to test with it. But yea, the RR is definitely going to be hard. I'll make the change.
@ Ch1efEngineer -- I definitely recommend sticking around. You can get some amazing help on this site and greatly improve your deck building skills. Honestly the land count hasn't been much of a problem. Of course there's still tons of testing to be done.
@ Doomed_Traveler77 -- If we're talking non-creature, what about Swan Song ? It hits most targets, and a 2/2 bird shouldn't be that bad especially if I get to keep my bombs. It can't hit Planeswalkers though, so this is another test I should run.
