could be a cheap Scuttling Doom Engine I guess other than that I can't really see much use for him :/

Yeah, and he's expensive. Added 2x Tomb of the Spirit Dragon though.

The sideboard needs a little work here otherwise this deck is downright amazing. I think Negate is incredibly relevant for stopping a planeswalker or an ascendancy. Also more Searing Blood , I think morph creatures will be quite the rage for a bit and this is bar none the best removal for them. Also find a spot for a one-of Keranos, God of Storms , best card in your colors imho.

I think Searing Blood will finally have its turn to shine with all the morphs in Tarkir. Running 4 of those in my Counterburn deck with 4 Satyr Firedancer . 2 to creature, 3 to player, 3 to creature. win

Btw I think Phyrexian Revoker is a must in the sideboard because of all the Sylvan Caryatid and Rattleclaw Mystic and Elvish Mystic that are going around. Even against Rakshasa Deathdealer . Getting one or two out in the first turns can be gg against green heavy ramp decks.

Also the effect persists even if it is killed (at least nothing says otherwise in the card) and you can name planeswalkers too, completely disabling them. Hell of a card

Phyrexian Revoker is a combination of a triggered ability (when this comes into play name a nonland card) and a static ability that references the named card. (Activated abilities of the named card can't be activated)

If the Revoker isn't in play its static ability can't affect the named card, so the named card's abilities can be played again.
