This deck is similar to the Pixy Stix deck covered here. It is a Modern top-deck control build. The objective of this deck is to control the opponent before they can even play anything. The first few turns are concerned with removing early threats from their hand with hand hate and setting up your control mechanism. Once you've set up Lantern of Insight with a couple top-deck mill cards, you're able to control your opponent's every draw.

This deck is my first attempt at a modern deck, and is going to still be built, like the rest of my decks, on a budget. While the Ensnaring Bridges place a lot of strain on my budget, they are a crucial part of the deck. Please keep my budget in mind when making suggestions.

Cards that I've elected to not use due to cost include Thoughtseize, Glimpse the Unthinkable, Remand, and dual lands.
