I originally built this deck because I really wanted to find a viable deck to play Permeating Mass in. What greater way to play him, than in a deck filled with Shenanigans?
So here's the scoop: Permeating Mass is the reason your opponents will learn to hate this deck. They don't want all of their valuable creatures being turned into 1/3 Masses.
Between Wall of Omens, Scout's Warning, and Collected Company, you should be filtering through your deck pretty quick.
Angelic Destiny is easily the biggest win con of the deck.
Jeskai Barricade is your protector. He is more than a wall that you can flash in for some quick defense, he essentially offers your creatures a get-out-of-jail free card when you need it.
Selfless Spirit and Day of Judgment is just a really fun and nasty combo that will give you plenty of evil stares from across the table.
Declaration in Stone is the decks best removal if you have had your Permeating Mass going to town on creatures across the board.
And lastly, Assault Formation and Archetype of Courage gets all of your walls in on the action, as well as makes your Masses far more frightening than anything your opponent might have sitting across from you.
Let me know what you guys think! I have had this deck for a while and it runs fantastically! I mostly play casual formats with friends, I know there are ways to speed this deck up with less tap lands, etc. But overall, the deck is extremely effective, and most of all.. tons of fun!
