Persistent Plague

Meren of Clan Nel Toth based, grindy, value-based persist deck, aimed to be ~7.5/10 power level ('optimised' deck) following Game Knights scale (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgGm_74Lc9M).

Main Combo:

• Classic Protean Hulk into Mike&Trike/Delver/Ballista is replaced with Lesser Masticore + Melira, Sylvok Outcast + sac outlet and etb/death trigger payoff, like Zulaport Cutthroat.

• Other Infinite Persist combinations (Mikaeus, the Unhallowed / Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest / Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Woodfall Primus / Puppeteer Clique / Lesser Masticore)

There are several win-cons in addition to comboing-out:

• Aristocrats style; tokens with Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest or Westvale Abbey  
• Recursion of Kokusho, the Evening Star
• Lock with limited stax effects, such as Contamination and Collector Ouphe or Mindslicer, and plowing your way with tokens or the few heavy hitters in the deck

I want to fit in more land-cycling/fixing creatures like Dawntreader Elk, Diligent Farmhand, Elvish Aberration or Krosan Tusker, land recursion like World Shaper / Ramunap Excavator, and Blood Artist type effects, and I don't want to loose any redundancies and options I have... :(

I've recently swapped Phyrexian Plaguelord for Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Walking Ballista for Lesser Masticore and Triskelion for Zulaport Cutthroat, and I've replaced Contamination with Mana Web. I'm looking for more changes like that - small tweaks that will make it run better, but keep the power under the competitive level.
