This deck came about when a discussion of bearhug and grouphug decks popped up after the Commander 2016 decks were released- specifically after people heard about Stalwart Unity- the newest kind of 4 colored bearhug deck and how black was not in those colors. It's true black is not normally a grouphug kind of deck but with some modifications, it can be a great group hug deck in similar fashion as to that of Nekusar decks- except there are no wheel and deal kind of cards in here. This deck was meant for a fun, crazy and friendly experience with black with cards that help balance out the power, and that helps others to have a good time. Just don't have Fleshbag Marauder in play with Endless Whispers as creatures will be pinging around the battlefield nonstop- unless you like that kind of craziness.

Last but not least, I've found it's best to "appear" to be helping others- even going as far to make certain deals for the good of the group (especially if that means keeping another player from getting too much power and possibly winning or knocking you out of the game.) This means as a rule of thumb, try not to paint a target on yourself and never go out of your way to hurt others unless needed.

BIG UPDATESo almost half of the cards have been swapped out for better (Actually worse on some level but in particular cases shines) versions or versions that offer more flexibility (for example, elixir of immortality is strictly better than cranial archive but often I want to hit other players graveyards instead of my own).

I also took out the cards that allowed opponents to benefit for free as this deck is more of like a make a deal with the devil kind of deck where nothing is truly free.

Lastly the deck as a whole isnt very threatening until the end or until..... like 2-3 hours have passed and someone needs to try and win. Thats where Masterminds Acquisition comes into play (and unlike most edh decks, this deck will actually have a decent sideboard with which to choose from.
