I wanted to make a monoblack build, I began with a Razaketh build as my general, but it wasn't much fun and had no real innovative synergies, in the end I was just playing control, and I found out that, surprisingly Razaketh is OP if you manage to get him on board. My hope is to make a fairly relevant deck like a 7.5/10 on the power level of the commandzone podcasts. And to help me I can play with proxies in my playgroup so I don't really mind the price of cards (i just don't include cards that are overly busted and have an enormously bloated price (Vampiric tutor, imperial seal,...), I am currently removing the "Classic" Ways to win in a monoblack deck (Exsanguinate, Torment of Hailfire and the likes, or recurring grey merchant of asphodel) as I don't have much fun winning that way anymore (the previous deck mostly won like that) so I'll try focusing more on my commander with equips and things like that. We have Authorized proxies in my playgroup so I got some not-so-cheap cards but if you find budget alternatives for some cards don't hesitate to tell me. I have included some custom categories to have some more data for you to analyze. So.... Here goes !
