Phenax, God of its Gone

ITS THE MOTHER FLIPPING MILL GOD

This deck holds a special place in my heart as Phenax was the first legendary creature I pulled and became the first EDH deck I ever built. Because of this, this deck had had many tweaks and changes but this is the most up to date version. I have stayed away from running loads of walls, which I know is really strong with Phenax, but instead I have gone with creatures that have Mill abilities or feed off of graveyards.

I have a few cards which can combo into an easy win which are the following:

Mindcrank + Bloodchief Ascension

Fraying Sanity + Traumatize

Spell Crumple + Tunnel Vision

Its worth noting that my two favourite cards are in this deck. The first is Wrexial, the Risen Deep (who I have a signed copy of by the artist Eric Deschamps) because Islandwalk and Swampwalk are great but then getting to cast an instant or sorcery from defending players graveyard for free is AMAZING, especially when you have milled it so they never got to play it! The second is Eater of the Dead because he is a Mill machine when on the field with Phenax, God of Deception. Tapping him to mill 4 cards hope you get a creature, exile that creature and tap him again to repeat.

I feel like I have done a good amount of research on this deck but if anyone has any suggestions the please leave a comment. If you like the deck as much as I love it I would really appreciate the upvote!
