I'm trying to make the fastest most potent mill EDH...on a budget. Some strange creatures pop up here because they add to Phenax's devotion. Once I have Phenax as a creature I can use him to block anything (besides fliers) and I can then use him to mill 7. Several synergies include: Eater of the Dead + creature cards in an opponents graveyard allows me to untap and mill more for each creature. Wight of Precinct 6, Mortivore, and nighthowler I would tap last after other creatures have milled so that they would have the most effective mill capability. The main weakness of this deck is board wipes. I've tried to include many small, colored walls and creatures so that I get them out before Phenax and am immediately able to mill with them. Well, after they've stayed untapped to block for a turn. Finally, if I need a different win condition I have Patron of the Nezumi to kill them as a I mill them. (In case they've recycled their whole graveyard into their library.)
