A fun card that can get big really quickly is Wight of Precinct Six. In my modern mill deck, I run one copy of Ghastly Conscription as a crazy finisher, but that's just me, I like adding crazy, weird cards to my decks. Like Winter Orb in slivers >:)

Mesmeric Orb? Also Surgical Extraction could take care of any problem cards like Wheel of Sun and Moon.

I don't like Mesmeric Orb. it's way too easy to screw yourself with that.

I don't need something bad like Surgical Extraction if I'm already using stuff like Leyline and Coffin Queen.

So in order to preserve my sanity and keep bad comments off my page, I'm just gonna delete comments that do stuff like assume I'm rude just because I don't like a card, or assume I don't know what I'm doing just because I don't play the cards and combos everyone else plays. Sorry that I have a playstyle that isn't yours, and sorry your feelings get hurt by nothing.

Well of course, I couldn't help but honour one of the finest cartoons to ever grace my eye orbs.

First of all, Intruder Alarm is nuts in Phenax. See his interaction with 'Al' (Undead Alchemist). It also goes well with Bloodline Keeper  Flip (which also shores up any weakness to tokens).

Tainted Isle is a decent dual colored land for budget play.

Unless you want to do the (unreliable) Tunnel Vision combo, I recommend swapping Vessel for Chromatic Lantern for added fixing, functionally an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.

(Just FYI, this page runs a bit slowly when scrolling in my browser)

I'll try reducing the resolution of my background image, thanks.

Intruder Alarm isn't really worth it for the 2 or 3 times it'll be insane, since it also greatly benefits certain opponents.

Bloodline Keeper also isn't worth running just for Intruder Alarm.

My mana base is fine as is, Tainted Isle isn't something I'm gonna put a card order in for.

Chromatic Lantern isn't something I wanna be buying right now, Vessel is a fine mana rock for the time being.

Hey man, love the deck, I've always had an outside interest in EDH mill, and this looks like a sweet one. I noticed you're running Doom Blade, why not Go for the Throat? Love the page by the way, super cool.

The only reason I'm not running GftT is because I didn't feel like buying one lol

A great addition to the deck would be Thousand-Year Elixir, since Phenax gives the ability to the creatures ergo giving the creatures to have pseudo-haste and activate the tap ability.:3

Funny, since that's already in the deck.

If you ever have the chance to trade or buy a Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger I'd strongly recommend getting it. It's a huge tank who exiles annoying permanents and will end an opponent in 5 turns or less.

Chasm Skulker always seems to paint a big target on my back if I play it too early, and alot of the time playing it too late drops its relevance to next to zero most of the time (either I don't need it, or it is sent to the graveyard almost immediately).

I've always loved mill, and I still hope to one day make an EDH mill deck. One card I've loved in my non standard mill decks is Archive Trap. Often people search for cards, this is an easy 13 cards to mill at no cost.

If you're playing Leyline why not also play Helm for immediate milling out opponents?

Why would I play a $20 instant win card? How is that fun or practical?

That new Scavenger Grounds might be nice to have in your back pocket.

Nice deck! I've been toying with this idea for a few days after discovering another variant of the Phenax Commander deck here: Phenax, God of Milling. Check it out, including the comments! I'm going to mull over the differences in your deck and that deck to see how they differ.

After reading your description, your mention of cloning made the new card Helm of the Host come to mind... I'm not sure yet if it's worthy of this deck or not.
