Get into the mech Kefnet the Mindful !!!

In short this deck has a mix of infinite combo and voltron elements; originally I focused a bit more on the combo but decided its not something I enjoy and a waste of a chance to hit face with robots. To be Cedh level it would need cards such as Jeweled Lotus and Mind over Matter , but as it stands I wanted this deck to have a shot at winning in my playgroup (slightly competitive) while still being fun.

So the combo is Intruder Alarm, any creature that untaps and produces mana i.e. Silver Myr OR an Ashnod's Altar and then to repeatedly tap and untap Shorikai, Genesis Engine while Laboratory Maniac is on the field or drop a Thassa's Oracle to win the game. Good old tried and tested method of winning with a few search cards like Enlightened Tutor to make finding key pieces consistent (especially as Shorkai can draw those cards immediately)).

Now for the fun side. Shorikai and other vehicles are good at avoiding most creature boardwipes, there are 8 destroy all creature cards (with various conditions) and 5 instants that can reset the board state (typically one sided to the decks favour). To ensure that vehicles can still be crewed there is a few tricks to get bypass/ get value; Shorikai itself can make pilots which makes the commander self-sufficient. In addition Mobilizer Mech, Peacewalker Colossus, Myth Realized and Mech Hangar provide alternative ways to make vehicles creatures after a boardwipe. Kefnet the Mindful and Oketra the True are cheap indestructible creatures which can help to crew after a boardwipe, everything else about them is secondary but useful. If I know I am about to board wipe, I can partially crew my pilots on some vehicles, sac them with Ashnod's Altar for mana and then get rid of creatures.

there are some combat tricks such as having no creatures on my side of the field then casting Reins of Power to take my strongest opponents creatures and using them to then crew my vehicles; if I am feeling fairly devious I can then sac all those creatures with Ashnod's Altar and Martyr's Cause
