hellspawned I think when you play K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth you kind of get used to having no life lol. If you watched some of the videos I cast Peer into the Abyss at 3 life. You are right though, it's always good to have decent amount of ways to gain life. Some of the guys had problems with aggro decks sucking the life while people countered the win cons.

This deck is beautiful MtgSalt, excellent job! Your 100% foiling is very impressive. Some day I will achieve the same with my commander decks.

My only suggestion is to increase the amount of removal slightly. Damnation (additional wipe besides Deluge), Deadly Rollick (free spell), Font of Agonies (repeatable instant-speed creature removal, since you lose life so often), Oubliette (to neutralize commanders), etc. I know you are going all-in on combo, but from my experience running extra removal is always useful.

K’rrik is one of my favorite commanders. I run Doomsday in my build and it’s a lot of fun. I love winning via combo with 1 or 2 life left, it makes the stakes so much higher. Check out my deck if you like -

zAzen7977 what would you suggest swapping?

It’s really tough to choose what I’d cut for more removal, but you have a few flex spots. It’s also meta-dependent.

Collective Brutality is my first choice to swap for Deadly Rollick. I get the life gain and discard, but I’d rather exile a creature for free.

Plunge into Darkness can be useful, but the first mode requires creatures to sac, and the second costs life, which is already precious enough, and exiles your own cards while searching. I’d rather run Damnation as a back-up creature sweeper, since Toxic Deluge is so life-intensive and sometimes I want a choice between the two.

Zombie Infestation is an occasional win-con but is weak on its own, I would swap it for Font of Agonies. Font is a nightmare for creature-heavy decks, allowing you to lock-down the board until an opponent removes it. As an alternative, Oubliette with K’rrik costs only 1 mana and is pretty nasty too. Or Baleful Mastery or Murderous Rider, since you aren’t running any Planeswalker removal.

Personally I’m not a fan of Skirge Familiar, it’s expensive at 4 mana (with K’rrik) and it’s usefulness depends on cards in hand. I’d rather run Bolas's Citadel (3 mana with K’rrik), which can combo off by itself, plus I can complete the infinite combo with Sensei's Divining Top and Aetherflux Reservoir.

I’m not a big fan of Torment of Hailfire either. You need lots of mana to pull it off and it’s a dead card during early turns. I’d rather run Soul-Guide Lantern for one-sided graveyard hate, since I don’t see any in the deck. Plus you can search for it with Urza's Saga.

These are nitpicky suggestions, just food for thought :)

I wholeheartedly agree with zAzen7977 on every point except the last swap. Torment can be removed, that I agree with. Soul Guide Lantern is cool, more of meta call personally. Urza's saga does get almost all your artifacts. But aside from skullclamp and maybe jewled lotus, I don't see it's value in this build. I don't know what else I would recommend to add at this point, aside from maybe a Deliver Unto Evil. They give you back bolas citadel, aetherflux (which no1 in their right mind would do), so you can get back another 2 good cards (such as tutors to search for yawgmoth's will/anything else).

Also, why are there only 85 cards in deck and such a low land count? Did you forget to add lands or am I missing something?

Profet93 that's funny I actually took the snow swamps out to change the set and forgot to add them back

Hello there. Am the guy you talked to in Commander Replay's vid.

My K'rrik list is on this site (YouTube keeps deleting my link for some reason).

Speaking of builds, am I a minority that doesn't run Thrumming Stone in the deck? XD LOL

JohnMichaelBushman I ran thrumming stone at one point but it's little slow to cast. You really don't need it. So maybe the minority should be the majority lol.

Link your list in these comments.

Inkmoth thanks for the love. I'm trying to switch to paper gameplay, we have been in the middle of moving States. If you want more K'rrik gameplay you can also jump in the mono black discord. Some good things happening there

MtgSalt: Dw, I'm already in it and just about every cEDH oriented server out there (still hunting tho, so thanks a lot!).

I'm Inkmoth on there as well!

Would love to see if there is anything that could be added/removed with the release of the newest sets. I wanna build this but I feel there has to be some cards that have been released since the last update of the deck that will "improve" it.

nitecruzer I haven't seen anything yet that i would use but still playtesting things. I apologize for not getting back sooner, I mostly use Moxfield the most recent updates will actually be on there as it is an easier site to use for consistent updates.
