A new take on a Mishra, Artificer Prodigy EDH deck. With Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain replacing Mishra in the realm of URX storm/eggs commander, I have attempted to come up with a new deck that takes advantage of his strange ability. Right now, I'm focusing on the interaction between Mishra, Artificer Prodigy+Nether Void/Possibility Storm/Nullstone Gargoyle/Planar Chaos/Chalice of the Void. Any of these cards counter your own spells in some way, if you stack those triggers so they happen before Mishra's, then you can use Mishra's ability to get your artifacts out of the graveyard/library, effectively negating these effects for you and only you. So, if you couldn't tell, this is gonna be a stax deck. I'd like a combo win, but I'm still testing to see what I want for my win. I want it to all be artifacts (or storm) so that they can get around my stax pieces easily. I'm thinking possibly Sensei's Divining Top+Paradox Engine+Voltaic Key+ a number of mana rocks and a storm win. I feel like that maybe too convoluted though so if anyone has any better ideas, I'm open to them.
