Sol Ring is BANNED in my playgroup.

Gix does everything black is known to do: pay life, draw and discard, and steal yo stuff. Playing this with lots of creatures that literally or figuratively can't be blocked, and messing around with a Moonboard from Nightmare Moon  . Can be switched out for Calculating Lich. Homeward Path can similarly be switched out for Witch's Cottage.

Any instant removal can be switched for Sheoldred's Terror for more Phyrexian theming.
