Consider also Sorin, Lord of Innistrad Great for token decks like these +1

I did think about adding them in (they are also pretty good with Call of the Conclave . If Pack Rat doesn't end up doing much they'll be replaced by the paladin. and thanks for the +1 and for commenting.

If I had any Sorins he'd have found his way here easily, I may have to start trading for him if this deck proves to do decently as they've been thrown around my meta as trade fodder lately (while Thragtusk could almost be traded at $25).

I think you should use Thragtusk , atleast sideboarded. it does work vs aggro and can make a token.

Did you read my last comment? Thragtusk is currently too difficult to acquire, nearly every local vendor is out of stock, people in my meta often will stake out the store's entrance asking people if they have some for trade, and the people who have some to spare have friends borrowing them. I'm well aware of their effectiveness which is why I've tried a deck that is more aggro.

Why is Ajani, Caller of the Pride in here? He is more suited for exalted heavy decks. I'd prefer Sorin, Lord of Innistrad . Also I find Precinct Captain to be a little bit too situational. I'd prefer more paladins and archangels if possible. Check out my similar deck, deck:here-comes-the-flood if you want some ideas.

Ajani would be strong in an exalted deck, but in here he's like a 3rd Silverblade Paladin , a tank to absorb some aggro's damage, and something difficult for control to remove. Sorin would be great, but I happen to not own any and Sorin really doesn't fill the same role as Ajani, not to mention them both together work pretty well.

Also have you ran a Precinct Captain with Rancor ? And out decks are just borderline similar.
