B O L A S

I love Bolas :3 and have been looking for a good way to play him in the pioneer meta.

This discard control build centres around slowing down the early and mid-game with removal, discard and threats on board long enough for you to get Bolas on the field and win with the advantage he generates. While some red board wipes are available I prefer using Adventure creatures to (essetially) go 2 for 1 trades on board and gives the deck some threats for your enemies to be concerned with. The main board draw power is limited, so we are relying on the 2 for 1 trades adventure creatures provide mixed with the targeted removal for the things our creatures cannot skirmish with.

The Combo in the deck is how Maestros Ascendancy interacts with adventure cards; You can use it to play an adventure spell from your graveyard, but the Adventure exile mechanic superseeds the Maestros Ascendancy exile effect, so every turn once per turn you can sacrifice an adventure creature to cast an adventure spell from your graveyard to then play that adventure creature. This also makes up for some lack of card advantage.
