Counter-Heavy Mono-Green Pioneer that takes advantage of the power of Devotion. It's an aggressive aggro deck where you are playing creatures and land pretty much every turn and turning cards sideways from the get-go. Don't be concerned if you have to play a little patient at times though - most creatures are capable of getting very big very quickly and your board state can look quite different from one turn to another.

All creatures have the ability to gain +1/+1 counters, so your board state tends to build quickly and consistently.

Jadelight Ranger and Tireless Tracker help with mid-game card draw, as does The Great Henge which synergizes perfectly with this deck. Every time I play Inspiring Call I win the game.

Wildborn Preserver and Walking Ballista are excellent mana sinks, usually fed by Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. Don't forget the ability to double up on Nykthos when you draw a second.

Any suggestions regarding the sideboard are welcome. The expected swaps with the current list would go something like this:

• Add 2x Scavenging Ooze in place of 1x Experiment One and 1x Pelt Collector
• Add 3x Mistcutter Hydra in place of 3x Walking Ballista
• Add 3x Shapers' Sanctuary in place of 3x Aspect of Hydra
• Add 3x Sorcerous Spyglass in place of 3x Aspect of Hydra
• Add 4x Thrashing Brontodon in place of 3x Jadelight Ranger and 1x Tireless Tracker
