This Pir, Imaginative Rascal & Toothy, Imaginary Friend is a draw focused deck trying to win with a bunch of wincons out of the blue! It's really fun to pilot as you get to see alot of cards and have to carefully play your outs!

Deck strategy and goal

The main goal of this deck is to draw your whole deck and with with either Laboratory Maniac, Psychosis Crawler, Thassa's Oracle or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries on the board! We also run Simic Ascendancy as another wincon but mostly serves as a diversion and Key to the City or Rogue's Passage can make Toothy unblockable and actually kill with commander damage in 1 swing! Everything you wants from simic : RAMP, DRAW, SMASH!

Synergies & Value Engine

Narset, Parter of Veils and Teferi's Puzzle Box in play makes all your opponents ditch their whole hand and only draw 1 on their upkeep, leaving you with some draw triggers and a fresh hand to take over the game!

The Ozolith and any flicker spell before combat can give us back a huge toothy at the combat step, although it won't have haste, we don't care about attacking as much as getting Toothy huge!

Possible cuts and replacements

Nadir Kraken : It's a good mana sync, can get large and create a good army of blockers but I'm still not sure if that's what i wanna be doing with my mana, still trying it out at the moment.

Ravenous Slime Although it's a good graveyard hate card it only hits creatures and it can be easily chomped. I can make him unblockable but i'd rather protect and hit with Toothy as much as possible.

Exclusions & maybeboard

Here's cards I can't afford yet or am in the process of getting/trading for!

Sylvan Library : The price tag is hard on this one, on my wishlist!

Timetwister : Didn't include any of those effects as I'm going all in every game and doubt that I can come back to win after reshuffling everything in my deck!

Combos

Obviously we want to chain some spells to win in one turn out of nowhere so I love chaining those spells together while holding priority! In this scenario, we have a Toothy with 10 counters and 5 cards in hand (wich is a really normal scenario).

Cast Windfall, hold priority and cast Essence Flux or Siren's Ruse or Invigorating Surge (or all of them), making you draw 10, 20, 40 + cards! This nets you a huge Toothy, a big hand and combined with a Laboratory Maniac effect, Psychosis Crawler or a Regrowth effect to get back Windfall and win the game!

With cards like Doubling Season, Pir, Imaginative Rascal and Branching Evolution, this scenario is made so much easier!
