Inspired by a recent episode of MTGGoldfish's Commander Clash, my playgroup decided to build decks based around a single plane. All cards in your deck have to be printed in a set, refer to in the text, or depict in the art the plane of your choice.

I returned to Magic after an eight-year break (stopped after Future Sight, returned with Dragons of Tarkir), and the first Standard deck I built was a Jeskai prowess/rebound aggro deck. I quite enjoyed the flavor and the feel of the deck, and since it's been so long since I've gotten to play with any of those cards, I picked Tarkir as my plane with Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest at the helm.

Being restricted to only Tarkir cards means this deck is pretty jank; the only real advantage it has over other planes is the mana base. As such, I didn't include any fetch lands in this list, since it seems unfair when stacked up against Zendikar, Llorwyn, and Innistrad. In any case, the concept of the deck is pretty straightforward: play prowess creatures, play spells, punch your opponents with your buff monks. Not much to it, but it's fun to play with similarly themed decks.
