this started out as a fun joke deck that has evolved over time into a fairly competitive curveball deck none is ever prepared for. if you play in a group with the same people all the time i don't recommend this build. they'll hate you. but most decks in the modern format win by creature based damage (even many combo decks like twin) and they simply cannot break through a turbofog build. i regularly have decks like affinity and burn scoop as early as turn 2, and most matches only get better out of the sideboard. if your playing the deck however its important to note that an opening hand that doesn't have a sceptre or mine is UNKEEPABLE you will lose. for sure, you'll find yourself in a lot of situations where you need to be drawing a fog and a land every turn; thats why the mines are there. and although this is basically a combo deck (2xprivileged position, avacyn, platinum angel) the primary win condition is just to stall your opponent out while they draw their deck from howling mines. difficult matches are torn, control, and anything with thought seize otherwise your in pretty good shape. i hope you like it and this build changes constantly so all suggestions are very welcome! thanks for checking it out.
