Absolutely love the chair/throne theme, especially with Oloro, because at the beginning of the game, he is always on the throne! +1 well deserved, my liege!

NinjaFist I hope no one in my group makes a dethrone deck. If they do I'm in trouble!

I looked at your choice of cards and was incredibly confused at why you'd choose some of these but not include other staples, and then I read the deck description. This is excellent.

Recliner Tribal? That is too awesome. =D +1 for one of the best deck-themes ever!

When you play this deck, are you a sitting duck or can it actually pull off a win by just outsitting everyone else at the table until you are he last man sitting?

TheDracogenius, I can win win this but it isn't a very competitive deck. Most of the time I have to stall with as much life gain and tap effects. Once Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts is out I can normally deter attackers until she is dealt with. Karlov of the Ghost Council and Sands of Delirium are the most common ways to win without a horde of tokens or extortion.

YouTube. Commander Vs. Stephen Green's Chair Deck. Atogatog.

xX_Infernus_Xx Atogatog could actually let me create a functional 5 color. I never noticed that it had a chair. I may have to change the deck up.

Camel-Senpai, Karlov of the Ghost Council and Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter are the most direct ways to win while sitting. You can also use Sands of Delirium to mill your opponent or give them a lethal Stroke of Genius.

So easily wrecked by Back to Basics, Blood Moon, or Ruination.

I know this is not a good deck and I specifically stated that this deck is mechanically terrible. It is designed around the art of the cards not what they do. However, it is a fun deck to play when you just want to mess around and don't care how the game ends.

does Mortal Combat fit here? cause if it does it'd be a funny alt win con :P
June 1, 2017 8:40 a.m.
Yeah it does looks like it would fit the theme! Thanks for the suggestion Cicjose. The deck could always use more win cons.

I have just a quick Question.
Isn't this one of the Random Decks from Star City Games Commander Vs Series???
June 13, 2017 6:50 a.m.
WildcardUKFRA Did Commander Vs have a chair deck? If they did I will definitely check it out. But to answer the question, I started designing this deck a few years ago long before I found out about the series. If we both built a chair based deck, it is purely coincidental. I'm honestly surprised that someone else thought about making a deck like this.

I can 100% assure you that Star City Games had this self same themed deck, with the self same name.
Justin Parnell was the "Lucky One" to play it on Season 2 Episode 4.

WildcardUKFRA Alright thanks for letting me know and giving the episode! I'll check it out and see how it similar the decks are.

You are definetly missing additional combat phases that goes perfectly with Bident of Thassa and make infinite combat with Breath of Fury or Aggravated Assault if used with Ashnod's Altar.

This actual function of this deck makes no sense to me, but the theme and premise of this deck is hilarious. +1
