You have that guy with the annoying sliver deck, you have that one friend who bought the dragon commander deck, you have that one rich guy who has 50$ cards and then there is you. Well, I am telling you that you can win. Are you looking for something that gives you a chance! Well I have it here!

Slivers don't stand a chance, just force his controller to sack them with Eldrazi Conscription. Cant attack those pesky slivers? Grab Spectra Ward or a Protective Bubble first. Got 8/8's? Any dragons? Opponents have expensive cards? Well just take the The Ur-Dragon with a Control Magic, Volition Reigns, Corrupted Conscience and have fun! Heck I took a Avacyn, Guardian Angel with a Corrupted Conscience and won the game. I have also taken a Karn Liberated with a Volition Reins and won the game. They can buy all the expensive cards they want, I have 36 cents of Volition Reigns that will give them a real run for there money.

Control is great, and with a hybrid control voltron deck, you have a set of win conditions with enough control to stop the guy on top. Playing some politics by promising people protection from a Bruna the light of alabaster instant death for a turn or two can get things going your way. With cards like Prison Term an eldrazi or two is manageable and you can collect thanks from some potential allies. If, someone somehow manages to shut you down (the first turn you play bruna almost exclusively) threaten to take something to keep yourself alive. Then, sit back and play some good old draw, eventually, you will get the removal required to do what is necessary to win the game. Here is a summery of what is going on in the deck.

One: We have a bunch a bunch of draw stuff. Kefnet the Mindful, Ephara, God of the Polis, Mind's Eye, Chasm Skulker, Thought Vessel, Spellbook, Righteous Authority.

Two: We have a bunch of creatures that help enchant or yield greater benefit from being enchanted. Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, Kor Spiritdancer, Daxos of Meletis, Bruna, Light of Alabaster, Soverigns of Lost Alara , Odric, Lunarch Marshal.

Three: We have offensive auras, Angelic Destiny, Aqueous Form, Eldrazi Conscription, Battle Mastery, Drake Umbra, Ethereal Armor, Steel of the Godhead.

Four: You got to protect your Bruna. Indestructibility, Gift of Immortality, Spectra Ward, Flickerform, Swiftfoot Boots, Protective Bubble.

Five: We just protect ourselfs. Karmic Justice, Sphere of Safety, Crawlspace, Dissipation Field, Wall of Denial

Six: Too many enemies to murder? WIPE EM ALL! Supreme Verdict, Terminus, Winds of Rath

Seven: Someone got you down? They got expensive cards that you cannot beat? Just take them! Corrupted Conscience, Control Magic, Volition Reins

Strategies: This deck has three primary strategies. One is the insane draw strategy, two is taking control of powerful things others control and three is the main Bruna, Light of Alabaster strategy which I will cover below.

Use some Aura fetch cards and set up Bruna, Light of Alabaster to be untargetable, indestructible with flicker in case of something along the lines of Terminus or All Is Dust. Then equip yourself with some offensive auras, and do your 21 damage to your opponent(s). If you have multiple opponents, Celestral Mantle is quite helpful to keep you life up while they focus you. It is likely that you will get at least one aura fetch card, Open the Armory, Soverigns of Lost Alara , Three Dreams.

Don't take the chance and immediately fetch a Eldrazi Conscription instead, start with a defense aura. It is likely (especially in a multiplayer game) that someone is sitting on a Doomblade or something of the sorts. All eyes would be on you, after you fetch an Eldrazi Conscription and would imminently become a prime target for spells. If you instead fetched a Spectra Ward, Idestructability or a Gift of Immortality you increase you chance of survival by what seems to be about 85%. Once you get a Spectra Ward on Bruna, Light of Alabaster, it doesn't nearly matter as much if people see you as a threat because they cant really respond. At that point, you just have to wait it out and get one or two offensive auras to win the game. Note: Sovereigns of Lost Alara bypasses this problem as you fetch in the attacking step and you can easily lose the exalted creature as long as it is not Bruna, Light of Alabaster. Fetching an Eldrazi Conscription on a Ascended Lawmage is ideal as you can immediatly punnish your foe with next to no risk. If they pull somthing out of there hat, it doesnt matter because worst case senero you lose 1 creature and they lose two permants. Of course you lose the aura as well, but Bruna, Light of Alabaster can grab auras from the graveyard.

You should try to think about what colors your opponent are and what kind of strategy they have when deciding which protection aura is ideal. Basically, all three are ideal for different reasons in different circumstances.

Flickerform is the ultimate form of protection (assuming you have the mana). The examples given are some of the effects that you are protected from that are usually especially hard to protect from. For Effective examples: Cyclonic Rift, Whelming Wave, All Is Dust.

Ineffective examples: No manaNote: If you have lots of mana to spare, this protection is always ideal.

Indestructibility is for dealing with destroy keywords.

Effective examples: Doom Blade, Kill Shot, Murder

Ineffective examples: Terminus, All Is Dust, Celestial Flare

Gift of Immortality is ideal when dealing with indestructible hate, sacrifice effects and destroy effects. However it is a one hit per turn wonder (If you are the main threat in a multiplayer game, two people might decide to hit you).

Effective examples: Burn from Within, All Is Dust, Celestial Flare

Ineffective examples: Path to Exile, Unsummon, UnmakeNote: Also your other auras will drop if she is destroyed, so just keep that in mind if this is your choice

Spectra Ward is ideal for dealing with colored target effects.

Effective examples: Unsummon, Bound by Moonsilver, Snakeform

Ineffective examples: Obsidian Obelisk, Wrath of God, Cyclonic Rift

Choosing your second/third-next Aura to fetch. This is because I assume that after choosing a defensive aura, you would choose Eldrazi Conscription. However it is highly likely you already had a defensive aura in your hand so your first fetch was Eldrazi Conscription. Keep in mind that these are generalizations and do not take situational information into account. I am not counting Prison Term or Plumes of Peace as you do not enchant Bruna the light of alabaster with them.

Celestrial Mantle is a great pick if people are overwhelming afraid of you. You can start gaining health faster than they can take it.

Righteous Authority is a great pick if you have some creatures that benefit from draw.

Battle Mastery is a great choice if you can win the game or eliminate someone with the next hit.

Faith Unbroken is a great pick to prevent an Eldrazi based fate

Auramancer's Guise is a great choice as it can make Bruna the light of alabaster one shot people with just 3 other auras and Battle Mastery.

Drake Umbra is a good choice if your defensive choice was Spectra Ward, adding some offensive bonus and defensive bonus. However, for damage increase Battle Mastery is superior.

Steel of the Godhead is a decent choice but with multiple targets and a powerful flying creature, its not likely that your opponent can block Bruna, Light of Alabaster. Lifelink bonus is nice, but Celestial Mantle does its job better.

Etheral Armor is a poor choice Auramancer's Guise is more effective for damage.

Aquous Form is a awfull choice, mostly because you could just choose Steel of the Godhead and get lifelink and +2+2 as a free addition.
