@KUNFUSION I guess my suggestion would be try taking out the Expedition Maps and see if that works, Otherwise I guess just try switching them out your sorceries. I can't see the Proteus Staff having any real significant advantage over Polymorph, since they both usually go off on turn 4. I suppose the only real advantages are you're pretty much guranteed to pull either a staff or a polymorph, and obviously the deck will be harder to shut down with Slaughter Games etc.

Unexpected Results would be perfect for this deck. For some odd reason, I think an extra creature is needed. Maybe Progenitus?

Zeitlos wow Unexpected Results would be pretty fun to add into this deck, what might you suggest to substitute out for it?
March 4, 2013 10:27 a.m.
Could you not possibly get the combo out a turn earlier? If you say ran all 4 Breeding Pool and ran Arbor Elf as well? Or just Birds of Paradise if money isn't an issue. Turn 3 Emrakul would be OP.

Scrap that. Would fuck with the polymorph haha. Stupid idea. What about Rampant Growth?
March 5, 2013 8:04 a.m.
polymorph wont let you utilize Emrakuls extra turn ability :/

@ KONFUSION I would personally sideboard both Lightning Greaves and Expedition Map. Playing four Unexpected Results would allow you to exploit emrakul 's extra ability, so you won't need haste; and that provides more leverage, since you don't have to rely on Polymorph alone to cast your win condition.
By the by, thank you for uploading this deck. My friend has a similar deck which uses Blightsteel Colossus, and I didn't want to copy his deck, even though I really wanted to.
But this one is a keeper. If you don't mind, I'm going to tinker with this deck and shell out some funds and make my own real-life modern deck.
Thanks again, dude.

@ Zeitlos By all means dude go ahead! Makes me feel good that the community is liking this deck so much. If money wasn't an issue what would you change about my deck? I feel like the mana base could be better?

Wouldn't Farseek be better than Rampant Growth or Sylvan Scrying for this deck? It would allow you to pull out the Shock Lands.

you're absolutely right friend! thank you! TrumpetsforKings

So I was thinking, although it's quite rare, what do you do if you draw Emrakul?
The only thing I could think of would be Enduring Renewal where you can basically just reshuffle him into your library every time you draw him. Though I think it would deviate from the original strategy as I'm sure it very rarely happens.

wreckedd it has happened in play testing but hopefully adding the cards that put him in my graveyard will help. If he is discarded, he goes back in my deck :)
March 5, 2013 8:46 p.m.
I think I was thinking too outside the box haha, was trying to solve the issue before even drawing him. I guess you could just discard him from your hand though
March 6, 2013 4:42 a.m.
Maybe run a few different big guys. One Slaughter Games and it's over.
I would maybe include a singleton of, as earlier suggested, Progenitus and another singleton of Inkwell Leviathan.
March 6, 2013 9:50 a.m.
Whichever creature you get into play will still be bashing skull, at turn 4, and they all have some good measure of evasion against opponents.
March 6, 2013 9:53 a.m.
I have been considering adding another creature. It def would be Progenitus idk what to take out for him though :/ what do you think? Dallie

If price isn't an issue you want the fetchlands and one Dryad Arbor
March 7, 2013 2:59 a.m.
@ Crossfiyah I thought about it but the fetch lands can only get Breeding Pool. Am I missing something about the fetchlands?

I think this deck is great, I love how hilarious/strangle consistant.it is. Have you considered Proteus Staff? Just does the same job as Polymorph but in artifact form.
