This deck aims to eat away at the opponents resources until they are left with nothing but a few lands and you're left with an engine ( Cryptbreaker or Castle Locthwain ) and a win-con ( Cryptbreaker , Mutavault , or Vampire Nighthawk .

The deck uses symmetrical land destruction in the early game ( Akki Blizzard-Herder , Boom , and Smallpox ) Along with discard ( Thoughtseize , Inquisition of Kozilek , Collective Brutality , and Raven's Crime ) to stall the opponent and hopefully mana-screw them, knowing that 1) we will top-deck a land before they do and 2) we can win a game with fewer lands than they can.

Suggestions appreciated!

• I would like some sort of lifegain, but that's difficult in these colors.

Edits: Removed Cryptbreaker and Vampire Nighthawk for Shrieking Affliction and The Rack .

Removed red ( Boom / Bust , Kolaghan's Commands, lands) for Contaminated Ground to make it more budget friendly and possibly better.
