if you're running Exquisite Blood it's a sin to not be running Sanguine Bond as well

Diabolic Revelation is a good card that could work well in this deck i like your deck +1 from me!

Liliana's Indignation or Dark Deal would help accelerate out Avatar of Woe, and give some disruption.

Hey FLATSO99 thanks for that. Definitely on theme. The_Dragonmaster, yeah a little bit retro.

Megalomania isn't Braids, Cabal Minion baned altogether in EDH? I may be wrong and she may just be banned as a commander but i think shes banned period...

Expedition Map to fetch Cabal Coffers and Urborg. Also, if you have them, any of the EDH-legal Eldrazi titans, Kozi is preferable, but Ulamog is equally as good.

looks fun and i like the theme/flavor.
i think tyrant's choice is kind of underwhelming. if you want more sacrifice stuff, Barter in Blood could be better. also i would lean towards more draw like Bloodgift Demon and Promise of Power.

Chrome Mox is a fantastic accelerator, totally worth imprinting a card to enable super fast starts.
Night's Whisper is almost identical to Sign in Blood, if you run one, you might be interested in running both.
Murder is strictly worse than Hero's Downfall.

Perhaps Scepter of Fugue for a little bit of hand-hate and devotion? I used to combo it with Phylactery Lich in a modern devotion build. Hell, even Whip of Erebos would do you some good (Plus recursion and lifegain).

Hey RupertPhd. Yeah had Tyrant's Choice in as a table mechanic. I've gone for Dark Prophecy and Gate to Phyrexia and might try to squeeze Attrition in as well. Emzed those are all great shouts. DeeLight, Phylactery Lich would definitely fit the devotion theme. Maybe not running enough artifacts.

Hey so I'm liking this deck more and more; More things came to mind.

If going devotion:

    • Helldozer (Great devotion, also trouble-land removal AND untaps itself if it blows up nonbasics)
    • Liliana of the Dark Realms (THE planeswalker to run in a monoblack devotion deck. Helps land drops, has removal AND quadruples your mana if it goes crazy)

More Support:

If going for sacrifice control (Because I see It That Betrays in a shell that would need more cards to make it useful):

Snuff Out is a fantastic removal spell. Since it's free, it can create big blow-outs when your opponents see you are tapped out und think they are safe from interaction.

Thanks DeeLight. Incorporated a lot of those. Pushing devotion and sacrifice. May run a vintage Lord of the Pit over kokusho for the flavour and art, even though it's a worse card. Plus we have sacrifice fodder.

Decree of Pain might help to get you out of tough spots. Other than that looks good. +1.
