I actually like the Cartel Aristocrat paired with Athreos, God of Passage . First game it gives you some really awesome blocking potential. Second and third game is a great way to protect your deck from Deicide as long as Athreos isn't played without devotion. What I'm not site about in this deck is the main board use of Revoke Existence . I think it should be side boarded at best, and probably replaced with Deicide on the side board. The only thing it does that deicide doesn't do better is handle artifacts, but Pithing Needle is the only artifact I'd really worry about. Maybe Godsend too, but banishing light should handle them easily.

Revoke gets rid of: Banishing Light, Chained to the Rocks, Detention Sphere, Underworld Connections, Any God, Whip, Hammer, Bident, Madcap Skills, that other Dillo Cloak, Ethereal Armor, Any enchantment/enchantment creep. . .

It fits a utility role well suited to this deck, as a 2 of that deals with a wide berth of threats.

Now as for the actual suggestion, Deicide is really strong and definitely needs to go in my SB.

Deicide gets rid of all of those things too, but instant speed. Only thing Revoke does, but deicide doesn't, is get rid of pithing needle and godsend. Good argument for putting it mainboard instead of sideboard, but still better to have deicide than revoke.

Except you missed all the artifacts I mentioned. Hammers and Whips are great sources of devotion and having them denied can be a pivotal play.

Also I feel like I should mention that Godsend is a bad card in standard and won't see any serious play. It's a limited bomb sure, but in standard it's dogshit. I could see Hexproof playing it if that GG Hexproofer can take it over the top but in any other situation it can be replaced with a much better card.
