INTRO~
Hey everyone this is a deck I made on a low budget. This was not made to spend a whole bunch of money on. I spent almost $29 on this deck. This is an effective deck that is good almost against every other deck. Thanks for checking it out! I buy all my cards from Channel Fireball. It's a lot better than Ebay and other sites, trust me they are trustworthy.
SETUP~
This deck is really hard to beat if you get the set up right.
Lets start with the kill spell. If you are facing a multi-colored deck that does NOT have black in there use 2 Doom Blade and 2 Bile Blight. If you are facing a multicolored deck that HAS black in it and it has pack rats use 2 Bile Blight and 2 Geth's Verdict. If it has no pack rats use 4 Geth's Verdict
Now lets talk about other spells. If you are facing a control deck with more powerful spells or artifacts defiantly use 3 Duress. Despise will not help you against those. Now if you are facing an aggro deck use 3 Despise.
If you just feel you want 4 Gray Merchant of Asphodel take out Erebos, God of the Dead.
The extra 3 Read the Bones is there for my personal preference.
HOW TO USE~
To use this deck know 1 thing. ITS FAST. Almost all the cards are below 4 mana so in the first 4 turns you can really pound an opponent. Brain Maggot is probably one of the best draws you can pull from this deck on your first turn. Just to see what he/she has in plan and try to cancel it. If you don't have Brain Maggot hopefully you got a Phyrexian Revoker THAT SCREWS A LOT OF PEOPLE. Rakdos Cackler is also great to get out within the first couple turns. He is a 1 mana cost for a 2/2. Nightveil Specter is really good to get him out early on.
This deck gets even stronger in the later game. Thanks to Squelching Leeches. Gray Merchant of Asphodel is just great he lowers your opponents life and gains yours. Who doesn't want that!
The spells in this deck are very useful. There is 6 kill spells. Pharika's Cure is best to draw at the start when there is weaker monsters to attack with it. Despise or Duress is good to have at the early game to see what opponents hand is and eliminate a card from it.
Read the Bones is probably one of the best draw cards I've ever seen.
Hall of Triumph is good for obvious reasons. I like having Prowler's Helm in there to land some direct attacks with nightviel specter or Squelching Leeches. I really like Vampiric Link its a really good card ESPECIALLY for Squelching Leeches. Think of that combo in the later game.
