Pack Rat is really good, especially if you get more draw power like Underworld Connections (budget version of Phyrexian Arena and/or Dark Confidant).
Is this mainly for Modern play or for casual? I ask because Dismember is a much better kill spell in Modern than Murder.

This is literally a few cards away from being Standard, and therefore I think that you'd be better off staying in that direction..
Here's what I'm thinking (budget friendly edition)...
Drop the playset of Rogue's Passage in favor of all Swamps, and Murder can be replaced with Bile Blight.. From there, you're currently at 62 cards, so just outright drop the pair of Desecration Demon and you'll have a 'Standard' legal deck again.. But now you're in need of something that hits hard. Off the top of my head there's Master of the Feast & Squelching Leeches. Also worth considering is the way Claim of Erebos works with Pain Seer.. And finally, for a mono-colored creature deck, it's hard to go wrong with a single Hall of Triumph.. Also I would go down to 3x Gray Merchant of Asphodel..
Anyway, I hope this helps..

So, I think you may be playing Gray Merchant of Asphodel wrong...
You said in the description that if you have five mana, and you cast him, he deals five damage. That is incorrect. When he enters the battlefield, he counts the number of black symbols in mana costs of permanents you control. For example, if you cast him, and you have no other permanents aside from lands on the battlefield, he does two damage, and you gain two life, because he sees only the two black mana symbols in his own casting cost. If you play him while you have two Child of Night and a Desecration Demon, he would deal six damage, and you gain six life (Two black symbols in his cost, two in DD's cost, and one in each of the CoN's costs).
He does not count the number of lands you have, because lands have no mana cost, and therefore do not contribute to devotion.

The same, of course, goes for Marshmist Titan- your swamps do not reduce his mana cost. However, the other creatures and enchantments you have on the field do.

First off I made some changes in the deck. I thought about making it standard but most of my friends play modern so I added some more modern cards. If there is any more modern cards or creatures I should pay attention to please let me know

I was thinking about adding Erebos, God of the Dead and that would take it a little over 30 but idk if I want to add him in there.
December 7, 2014 4:10 p.m.
I have an Erebos, God of the Dead and I like any life gain your opponents have goes out the window. He's a 5/7 with draw potential and can easily be made a creature. He might be a bit slow for modern though, but if you can make him a creature by turn 4 you got a solid blocker with card draw and decent power.
I thought Eternal Thirst was good, but I would like to turn your attention to this card. Vampiric Link oh yes that is a one drop black card that works better than lifelink. ANY damage a creature deals gives you life, and you can enchant opposing creatures to prevent them from dealing damage to you. Grim Guardian constellation? That will heal you, or put it on a poker/big creature and nullify the damage they deal. Whip of Erebos might not be bad either, granted that might push your budget limit.

Rudmed Thank you so much that will defiantly be put in!

Another point with Vampiric Link- it's not technically lifelink, so if you enchant a creature with lifelink, you would get double gain from combat damage.

I really like the way this is developing. You'll get your first +1 from me.. ;)
However, I really don't like the idea of 4x Rogue's Passage, especially considering you have 17(!) different spells that you can't use the Passages at all to cast, and they do nothing for your Squelching Leeches.. I would drop 2-3x for sure, or at least find a way to acquire 1-2x Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to help fix that..
Oh and maybe consider trading one (or two) of those Squelching Leeches for Lashwrithe (the Germ token it produces is Black too btw..)
;)
And finally, in reference to one of your updates; Phyrexian Revoker does nothing against Waste Not, as it's all "triggered" abilities ("When", "Whenever", or "If").. "Activated" abilities have a colon ( : ) in them (like Pack Rat)..

Metroid_Hybrid I did in one of my games just get to many Rogue's Passage...it pretty much killed my deck so yes I will be taking them out.
But I question the Lashwrithe. If I put this onto the field and I only have 4 swamps out I can summon the artifact but I won't get the creature with the +1/+1 until I equip it with 2 life correct? If so how does it make it better to use this than rather use a Squelching Leeches with no life requirement.
And I must have misused my Phyrexian Revoker. But he did stop Pack Rat from doubling and I'm sure you could take out a lot of good creatures and or artifacts with him.
And is Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth count as a swamp itself? if so it will be on my list to add.
December 17, 2014 7:27 p.m.
Living weapon gives you a 0/0 black germ token... the equiptment then becomes attached to the germ token... giving it the +1/+1 for each swamp. this happens as the spell resolves... so with only 4 swamps under your control, your germ gets +4/+4 upon resolution of the Lashwrithe... that number of times your creature gets +1/+1 will climb as you add more swamps to your mana pool..
The equip cost at the bottom is so you can attach Lashwrithe to a different creature if you so desired.
So you pay 4 mana, with 4 swamps, you get a 4/4 black germ.

I took out
I put in
4 Swamp
I really got screwed when i drew a bunch of Rogue's Passage sometimes so i decided to remove it. Plus this deck will have no problem without it

Ah Kcin that makes that card so much better! This will be a must have for my deck.

Alright thanks to Metroid_Hybrid and Kcin I will be adding a new card to my deck
I took out
i put in
I found that this card can be basicly a Squelching Leeches but something better. It can hook on to other creatures leaving a 0/0 Black Germ creature token on the battlefield. Now if I had this on a Squelching Leeches it would be an 8/8 which would dominate. Thanks guys!
December 17, 2014 7:48 p.m.
the 0/0 germ token will die, though, when you un-equip the lashwrithe from it... any creature with 0 toughness goes to the graveyard as a state-based action (but it will simply disappear as tokens do not exist anywhere but the battlefield.) but an 8/8 leech is still awesome.

I would replace Claim of Erebos with Boon of Erebos as it boosts the creatures power and regenerates them whilst claim is slow...
