All hail Grimgrin, the mighty zombie overlord. This deck casts grimgrin, buffs him, and then lets him lead an army of zombies to beat you in the face with the severed limbs of your own creatures.

The cards and combosGrimgrin, Corpse-Born+Rooftop Storm+Gravecrawler: Let us now enter the infinite. sac gravecrawler to grimgrin and then recast him for free with rooftop storm. Repeat til grimgrin is God. Add Noxious Ghoul to this and I almost always remove the entire board of creatures that can stop God.

Mortician Beetle+Grimgrin, Corpse-Born: I sac things to Grimgrin and The Beetle gets massive.

Levitation: What's scarier than and army of zombies? An army of flying zombies!

Goulcaller Gisa + Grimgrin, Corpse-Born: I have no issue sacrificing my commander to create zombies for my army and then recasting him to devour them, making him even bigger.

The boost cards: Risen Executioner, Diregraf Captain, Death Baron, Lord of the Undead, Cemetery Reaper, Adaptive Automation, Undead Warchief, and Coat of Arms. These cards are in here boost zombies and make this deck a little more scary. Depending on what my opponents have in play, I usually have Phyrexian Metamorph, Evil Twin, and Clever imposter come in as a copy of one of these cards.

Return from the dead: Havengul Lich, Gisa and Geralf, and Phyrexian Delver. These are here to help return creatures to the field that have been picked off.

The cards that could easily be removed for something else: Geth, Lord of the Vault, Dread Summons, and Doubling Cube. Geth is a nice card, but even when he's in hand I rarely ever cast him. I almost always choose him as a last resort. Dread summons makes me zombies, but it hits me in the process and I'm not the biggest fan of that. Had a 4 player match, dread summoned for 8 and only got 4 zombies out of it. Doubling cube is good for late game. early game it does nothing. for it to be worth it, I have to have at least 7 mana in the pool.
