Praise Ula!

Modern*

ketoryuu

my first atemp at a modern deck, i was fondeling around my older sets searching for keranos knows what until i stumbled uppon Quest for Ula's Temple and then it struck me, this is what modern needs a deck with big juicy and meaty leviathans.I still need to think about a sideboard tought i already something in mind.Depending on how the sideboarding goes i'll probably need to chage the mana base.

Now about this deck:

Quest for Ula's Temple : obiously the heart and soul of this thing.

Inkwell Leviathan & Simic Sky Swallower: big shrouded hitters, these will probably be dong most of the damage in the hole deck.

Stormtide Leviathan: for this deck this is defence and offence all in one body prevents most things from atacking you and and lething most of your things atack unanswered.

Omenspeaker,Augury Owl,Index, Telling Time,Thassa, God of the Sea and Halimar Depths in case you haven't noticed my draw order is prety important. thats why these are here.

Whelming Wave : probably one of the most important cards in the deck keeps my winners on the fiels takes out the enemie's winners.

Mana Leak & some control to keep my oponent from getting out of controll before i can drop my joicy things.

Wrexial, the Risen Deep, Grozoth were cut out.

please keep in mind that this is still a work in progress, and the edges still need to be sharpened, please give out any sugestions that you think will benefit this deck's mainboard and sideboard (with a moderate budget in mind please), and dont forget to leave a +1 if you tought this interesthing at all.

Updates Add

there were obviously some changes that needed to be made, the number of leviathans was way to big before, cince normaly just one wins the game,

Mental Misstep i weep and wish for this card but as is this deck gets but fucked early diruption. i have to find a way arounf this if future updates

Serum Visions was traded out for Index since i feel it provides a bit more draw controll tought now im experimeting with Telling Time

Thassa, God of the Sea a bit more of draw controll with a possible indestructible body.

Judge's Familiar was added for a bit more of control but most likely will turn out to be a chump in the late game.
