Trial fun deck. The deck is based on Precursor Golem and revolves around copying targeted spells across token golems.

The idea comes from Mischief of a Devil: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/mischief-of-a-devil/ so full credit.

This is the first deck Ive posted, is totally fun, and not meant to be competitive. However recommendations on making it more badass are welcome.

COMBOS WITH PRECURSOR:

Cackling Counterpart allows you to copy every golem on the field, plus the additional two from each precursor in play.

Defiant Strike gives major draw power for one mana plus a minor combat bonus. The draw at instant speed allows you to fetch other cards, such as protection from spot removal or artful dodge, if necessary.

Artful Dodge = unblockable golems. Though not as useful as emerge unscathed, flashback gives it staying power.

Emerge Unscathed gives protection from spot removal and reduces chances of golems being blocked.

Vines of Vastwood and Sheltering Word give protection from spot removal with aggression and life gain respectively. May remove sheltering word altogether.

UTILITIES:

Ponder needed to find precursors. Suggestions on alternatives welcome.

Myth realised combos very well with the huge amount of spells bouncing around once Precursor hits the field, and the low cost means it can be brought out mid turn and still swing. May also provide an independent board presence.

MAYBE BOARD:

Tempered Steel: Currently preferring Vines of Vastwood over Tempered Steel due to its combo effect and speed, however Tempered Steel provides a much more effective boost if Precursor Golem is not on the field.

Mutagenic Growth provides additional agro.

Asceticism protects against one of the main weaknesses of the deck, spot removal. However seems unecessary given utility spell protections.

SUGGESTIONS:

Main weaknesses of the deck that I can pick out are spot removal and targeted discards. Its also unbalanced as hell and revolves almost completely around Precursor Golem. Alternative win-cons, keeping in theme would be great.

It's currently sitting a little low with creature counts so a two drop to establish some presence and delay until the combo comes out could be good.

Splicing in a different color, e.g. removing green for red (Assault Strobe), may be an option.

Im hoping to get suggestions on how to make this thing playable in a fun scenario so rounding it out (but not to perfection) would be great.

Sorry if I'm slow on the reply, will get back to you as soon as I can. (and sorry for no Wu-Tang Clan references, thought this deck-idea was creaming enough already)

Thanks all.
