I have all that you mentioned besides the ranger. I concentrated pretty heavily on Yisan's ability. I will load the deck, and link it. Safekeeper is a beast all around.

Piano Man's Lively Brigade Here is the rough draft. This is me trying to be a little more casual with a deck. I am not great with creature decks, and was trying to go creature heavy here. Swing to win idea. Most of my decks lack that, and I think it frustrates the people I play.

Omnastic is my for serious mono green. Even my creature blink deck has become more of a control, and combo out deck using the creatures for abilities, and rarely swinging out. You will Roon the day!. For a reference to how I normally build. That is why I think the extra eyes could really help.

Is that custom categorizing really that necessary in this deck? I mean, you can highlight needed CMC by pressing the bar from the right side menu that shows manacosts.

Luutamo I use mobile tapped out so when I'm out the custom categories give me a quick visual of what is where

Another good 1 drop option is Magus of the Vineyard. Mana ramp is always nice, and it's political enough to keep people from swinging at you for a couple turns to keep it on the field.

What about Birthing Pod? If you have that and your commander out, it would be a great duet!

April 29, 2015 6:28 p.m.

Birthing Pod is a great but not what the deck wants. It was in here for a short time and did miserably

I didn't read all the comments yet, but Yeva, Nature's Herald could be pretty sweet.

casey I actually just cut yeva recently she worked alright but if she was in hand I always had a more favorable play. It's a shame I really like the card

What value does Harrow bring you? loosing 1 land to bring out 2 lands really only gives you 2 lands when you could have 3? Harrow cost 3cmc to get you more land hmm is this a way to thin your deck out?

May 28, 2015 3:26 a.m.

Harrow loses one to get two untapped lands it's a slower ramp but it has great synergy with Lotus Cobra and my other land fall dudes.

Argothian Enchantress? You have 14 enchantments, plus an enchantment creature, enough to make it well worth doin'. For that matter, Nylea, God of the Hunt might be nice for you as well, since she'll almost always be active in a mono-colored deck, make her a nice 6/6 indestructible for 4 plus gravy. Might be better than Obstinate Baloth unless 4 life is really important or discard is extremely prevalent in your meta.

I'd cut a forest for Deserted Temple. Combos very well with the Cradle and Nykthos.

Ooh ooh put in Rings of Brighthearth they allow you to copy your commander's ability and with Gaea's Cradle and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx as long as you have a Deserted Temple it can make infinite green mana as long as nykthos makes 5 mana and cradle makes 3.

Have you considered an Hydra Broodmaster + Omnath, Locus of Mana combo? Generally with my Yisan deck I'm getting out 20 20/20s when I pull the Hydra out of my deck

July 19, 2015 4:45 p.m.

Limey12 I tried Omnath awhile back and he didn't quite fit the deck. I love the card but I always seemed to not play him because I had something better to play. As for Hydra Broodmaster it's another card I love but it's in the 6 slot where I have better options with Yisan.

You may be able to cut a forest for Illusionist's Bracers. I often use these on my Yisan to get double the creatures from a single activation (triple the creatures if you also pay for the Rings).

Love the deck! How do you feel about running Yavimaya Hollow instead of one Forest? Just adding a little more utility.

I have entertained the thought, but regeneration has never been too huge for me

Wirewood Symbiote and Elvish Visionary adds an engine that green decks like this would never have access to

Would Doubling Season be beneficial? If text states correctly, it doubles any counters put on permanents, so you'd be able to get to bigger things quicker...?

October 15, 2015 7:43 p.m.

HoweYouDrewin says... #25

but then you'd skip every other CMC level, but the deck can't rely on getting Doubling Season into play
