This deck is a constant struggle. If you play this, your default is assumption should be that you will lose. It becomes your job to try as hard as you can to not lose. Bear in mind that this is also something of a budget deck, so let's try to keep it under $100. Now, without further delay, it's time to review the key players in this ridiculous show.
Howling Mine & Dictate of Kruphix - The main strategy here is to draw ass-loads of cards and stall until the Hedrons are aligned. Gotta drop these bad boys and start picking up cards like there are nudes in the artwork. These get us to our stall options, buying us time, as well as getting us to our Hedron Alignments of course.
Drift of Phantasms & Copy Enchantment - Let's not kid ourselves. It takes a while to bust out all the Hedron Alignments, even when we're drawing tons of cards. Since we like to live on the edge, Drift of Phantasms is never played as a creature, just to fetch Hedron Alignments. Copy Enchantment is obviously to supplement the Hedron Alignments we do draw. These will actually come into play often as we plan on dropping most of our Hedron Alignments, more on that in a second.
Angelic Purge - Puts everything into place for us. In the most showy scenario, we sacrifice a Hedron Alignment in order to put another one into exile. If we already have one of those channels satisfied then we can mix it up, like putting an opponent's card into exile or sacrificing a different permanent instead. Don't be afraid to keep it fresh.
The rest of the deck is stall and control. Some of the best budget options Azorius has to offer between spell counters, board clear, fogs, and other cards as a contingency against any unexpected threats. As long as we can draw tons of cards, we should have the mana and the options to keep ourselves afloat.
Make no mistake, this deck can work. If you can get serious card draw going, then you will have all the answers you need to keep yourself alive long enough to win. Go forth and align.
