It might seem like a bit much but how do you feel about Archangel of Thune ? Etb triggers off your soul sisters, makes them huge, swings for game

MTdude: Oh, if only it costed four mana! Unfortunately, anything over four mana is hard to cast with this deck because of the number of lands I run, unless I manage to get it under a Windbrisk Heights . Also, the price keeps me away from it haha.

Wolfninja: See response to MTdude above, Archangel of Thune is a little too slow for this deck and out of my price range.

you never really explained your infinite combo, but from what i can tell, you use the metamorph to copy the leonin who then exiles a different metamorph who then exiles the first metamorph and so on (or something like that). Correct me if im wrong, but couldn't the same effect be created with fiend hunters exiling fiend hunters?
September 19, 2013 10:10 p.m.
backfire96: I'll try to clarify the combo a little more in the description, but the way it works is you have a Soul Warden /Soul's Attendant and a Leonin Relic-Warder on the battlefield. You then cast Phyrexian Metamorph as a copy of Leonin Relic-Warder . Whenever it enters, you gain one life, then you may have it exile itself because it is an artifact creature. Whenever it leaves the battlefield, the exiled artifact/enchantment comes back into play, meaning it reenters and you begin the loop again. This loop is possible using Fiend Hunter , but that requires you to have 3 out of 4 copies, making it less consistent.

Oh, ok. Thanks for the clarification on that. I was under the impression that it was similar to the three o-ring enchantment loop except with creatures, so i figured that there would be 3 of them looping each other. Thanks for clearing that up for me, and that's a really neat combo

Plus, with Phyrexian Metamorph , you get some cool interactions with your opponent's artifacts :)

I think if you added path of bravery and take out 2 Path to Exile for the two path to bravery this deck would be the bomb
October 10, 2013 7:55 p.m.
I tried out Path of Bravery when it first came out, and it was a little inconsistent with the anthem affect and I usually only attack with 2-3 creatures at a time. Also, Path to Exile is just too powerful to not play it as a 4-of.

do you find that you don't need a Suture Priest ? Also I like your deck. Soul sisters and pridemate are a cool way of doing lifegain, I did mine slightly different, its more based on spells.. Its not finished but goes well when I playtest... I would love a few pointers from another lifegainer. more health please P.S. +1 because your descriptions are great and the deck is awesome. Hawk is nice here.

Cool list! check out my soul sister deck The Family Pet
Do you think you may find room for spiritbonds when it comes out?
June 23, 2014 11:49 p.m.
Nefferean: I don't like Moltensteel Dragon because you can go all in on it, then just get blown out by a removal spell. As far as Spirit Bonds, I may include it as a one-of, but I'm not sure what I would take out.
June 24, 2014 12:07 p.m.
I only use the dragon because I like its art :P
And as for spirit bonds I feel the same way. It seems like it would be good I just feel all the other cards are crucial.
June 24, 2014 12:55 p.m.
Nefferean: If anything, it would be a Martyr of Sands I think.
June 24, 2014 1:55 p.m.
Yah she seems to be a bit of a wild card. Sometimes she gives me tons of life. But sometimes she is just a dead draw.
June 24, 2014 1:58 p.m.
Nefferean: 4 copies has always seemed a little redundant to me, seeing as its only real purpose is to activate a Serra Ascendant and you can tutor it up with Ranger of Eos . My favorite pilot for the deck, Kevin Crimin, only runs three copies of Martyr of Sands , and his build is one I'm working my way towards, the biggest thing right now is a playset of Auriok Champion , which is unfortunately $16 a piece and I'm a broke high school student that only works during the summer :P
June 24, 2014 5:26 p.m.
Looks like you're in the same situation as me with money :P
Sadly, that's why Ranger of Eos
is left out of my list... Too damn expensive :/ It's also the reason for the lack of better lands. I only run 3 martyrs in mine and it seems fine to me.
June 24, 2014 8:14 p.m.
Nefferean: While Auriok Champion feel like a luxury, Ranger of Eos is a key component to the deck since you can tutor up Martyr of Sands +Serra Ascendant or just a pair of Serra Ascendant if you're already above 30 life. I think they were only $8 a piece when I bought them, must've gone up with the rise in popularity of Pod.
June 25, 2014 12:52 a.m.
Yah I know that they are a key component.. that's the sad part q.q I'm gonna try getting them slowly.

Have you thought about adding Mercy Killing to blow up your big Ajani's Pridemate and proc your Soul Sisters?
June 25, 2014 11:20 a.m.
nosoyyucateco: It seems like it might be okay, but I don't know what I'd take out for it, the synergies in the deck are pretty tight.

Check out my Naya sister build Aretha Franklin doesnt even have this much soul It has a bit more tools and less life gain but still a fun build :D
Evos really makes the game for the classic Monowhite sisters! My deck started as monowhite and kinda evolved from there!
I'd suggest adding Ajani, Caller of the Pride that'd make a huge difference with Ajani's Pridemate
