Obviously Argothian Enchantress is the best enchantment/card draw creature but isn't legal in Modern, still, Modern does hanve Verduran Enchantress. Its cheaper and draws on cast instead of ETB so you get the card even if it gets countered.

Hey guys thanks for all the new comments. Stand by for an "Honorable Mentions" list in the near future. There are some cool, but slightly out of place cards that have been suggested a few times and while they might work to an extent, I feel they take away from the deck as a whole and I will explain why in that list. Boseiju, Who Shelters All being one of them. As far as Laboratory Maniac is concerned, that just seems real cute and "win more." Like when I'm going off and I stack all my draw triggers, I'm just gonna win anyway and a maniac in my opening hand or (ever really) would just piss me off! Haha And the Leyline of Sanctity does in fact hose burn but they often can't race us game one and the main board Courser of Kruphix already hoses them. The life gain in the side makes game two almost guaranteed. So while it's a good card, I feel like the burn game is already strong, plus the double white makes hard casting awkward.. This is mono green after all. I really would like to refrain from ever calling any color than white with Utopia Sprawl. Lastly, Verduran Enchantress is a great card but I took it out for the cards mentioned below. Again, thank you guys for the support!

I recently took out the Boseiju, Who Shelters All and a Verduran Enchantress to put Stomping Ground and Kessig Wolf Run back in.

Oh my bad, I don't see Verduran Enchantress in any of your revisions so I assumed you didn't know about it/didn't have it.

This might actually be the coolest deck I have seen and may compel me to try Modern. Normally I hate combo decks...BUT IT IS GREEN!!!!!! +10000000000000000000

This is really great, I thought my Genesis Wave deck had some fast starts, but this is really just more consistent. I just added some Primal Surge to my Pucatrade want list. You may have made a convert out of me. Good stuff!

So I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this or not, but I was reading your Turn 3 win section and noticed something that's either wrong or needs to be explained to me as to how it's legal. It says turn 2 you play Nykthos, Utopia Sprawl on your Forest, and then play an Arbor Elf. Correct me if I'm wrong, but once you tap the forest for G, to play the Sprawl, that should be the end of your turn because you can't get that second G from the Sprawl without retapping your Forest... unless I'm terribly mistaken in the fact that it can somehow trigger on something that happened before it came into play?

He played the Arbor Elf Turn one. The video he has posted shows the three turns.

Ya, tapped the forest to enchant itself. Untapped with arbor elf. At that point you have three mana available (2 from the enchanted forest, 1 colorless from nykthos). I used that mana to cast courser.

I want to start off by saying thank you for your service, and I love this fucking deck. You have no idea. I was playtesting it against a bunch, pretty much all, of the tiered modern decks, and it won 2 out of 3 to all but ad nauseam. Ad nauseam shuts this deck up quick, but who even plays ad nauseam, lol. Nice build dude. +525600.

Dude, I thank you guys for the support and ideas. This deck is a blast to play and no one sees it coming. I just wanted others to be able to bring something exciting to the table too. I have played it almost every day since I built it. I have never seen such a "non tiered" deck perform so well. Stand by for another t3 vid that I made just now. This time I was on the play. They have so little time to interact!

Again, thank you guys and lets keep this deck goin! +1's for dayzzzzzz

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you wouldn't want Verduran Enchantress in here anyway, right? She triggers from casting, but you aren't casting stuff with Primal Surge, you are placing it onto the battlefield. Thus, Eidolon's ETB trigger is far superior if you are able to do the math with the triggers and not deck yourself as mentioned. I realize you will be hard casting enchantments regardless, but Eidolon just seems so much better for this deck anyway.

hi!first of all thanks for the awesome deck!I would like to ask you a question,i'm a noob so i think it's gonna be stupid soo :what's the point of having Stomping Ground and Wooded Foothills? just for Kessig Wolf Run? i also don't get why there is a Ghost Quarter. thanks a lot!!!

February 12, 2016 10:06 p.m.

theClokkwork says... #19

The Stomping grounds would be there for the Kessig Wolf Run, you are correct. And since it can be fetched by means of Wooded Foothills it can be reliably found. The Ghost Quarter is there to take care of troublesome lands an opponent has and replace them with easier to deal with ones. Let's say an opponent has an Urza's Tower, Urza's Power Plant and Urza's Mine in play. If you destroy the tower, you cut the opponents mana down from 7 mana, to two colorless and a colored mana. That can shut down the early game for Tron decks if they can't get their hands on another tower. Or if a multicolored deck gets overzealous with the non-basics, it can sometimes completely make them whiff on finding a land if they don't have enough basics to fetch up, making the Quarter a zero mana Sinkhole that also can tap for mana. And at the very least it can make an opponent who doesn't have basics in a certain color be cut off from that color splash. All around a fantastic card.

I wonder if Xenagos, the Reveler would have a place in the deck? Some added ramp as well as an ultimate with redundancy in the form of a less powerful Primal Surge?

Sorry to Burst your bubble but you can only have 1x Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx on the field at a time. Its a legend, having two would cause you to sack both.........

February 13, 2016 1:56 p.m.

limpNuZZle says... #22

That's not how the legend rule works actually... You utilize the first in whatever way you see fit. Then play the second. The legend rule allows you to choose which copy to keep and you sacrifice the other, not both. The second, untapped Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx is free to use for more mana. My bubble remains intact. Thanks anyway though.

If you are running primal surge, you should have 3 ulamogs, so when you take an extra turn after casting your other eldrazi ( i am too lazy to try and spell it), you attack with all three ulamogs, and effectively run the other player out of cards. I have a deck very similar to this. If you want to check it out: The Ramp to Victory. also, what do you play test with?

First off, I love your deck. I am currently working on my Simic Devotion deck, Devotion Domination, or Playing My Entire Library, and they seem to have a lot in common. Secondly, thanks for the inspiration! I got some really great ideas for some of the stuff I was working on from looking at your deck and the comments. I already had most of my deck put together but my biggest concern was how to handle my sideboard, since I've never gotten to play competitively and I wasn't sure what to prepare for. I found this page very helpful. Feel free to check out my deck if you want, and +1 from me for sure. If you don't mind, I also linked to your deck in my update. Credit where it's due and all.

P.S. Have you considered Asceticism? I've found it to be really helpful, and it fits with your enchantment thing.
