For the backup line "hulk offline", i can't understand the step "exile worldly to loot". Disciple of the ring doesn't actually loot or am i missing something? How do we draw the ballista from the top of the deck?

JackBattle you are right. For some reason I thought the +1/+1 mode on Disciple was actually a loot. I've updated the description to use Summoner's pact instead.

JackBattle The original list actually had a trinket mage, I just found it didn't do much most of the time. If you want to cut something to run it, that would work. (Phantasmal Image is actually unnecessary to combo now, so that might be the one).

Great job in the tournament! I've been waiting for the one tap win with protean hulk because ive been working on a list myself thats more towards stax. So great job to the guys who figured out the combo that was a great find. It was a hard combo to figure out. Can't wait to mention your Vannifar deck and tourney success. Congrats!

Great-oak guardian is a really good six drop that gets even better with mana dorks, fatestitcher, and kiora’s Follower

What is the option if an opponent play a Linvala, Keeper of Silence or a Grafdigger's Cage? Hope for the right top deck?

Kiddragon pretty much. Gilded drake is the best out to linvala. If you see a lot of them in your meta, you could consider adding Kraul Harpooner.

Cage has a few more options to remove. You could also try and find a slot for Beast Within or Chain of Vapor.

Spleenface That sounds extremely fragile. Also we use a ton of slots for the combo. What is the advantage of this line over NavDrake lines or Soultiller lines?

Kiddragon Flash Hulk, lower mana requirements and the fact that it works through null rod.

The deck is meant to be fragile and never not try to win on T4 or before.

I know you haven't updated in a few weeks but what about Waterlogged Grove ?

OptimalGreen It can probably go in as a substitute for either Botanical Sanctum or Hinterland Harbor. I wouldn't replace a basic, because you need the forests, and don't want to run out of fetch targets.

Which do you think would be best to replace it with than? If this deck isn't meant to win super fast probably Sanctum right?

OptimalGreen It's definitely meant to win super fast. You are trying to play Vannifar on turn 2 or 3 and win the turn after. I replaced Harbor, because I found it more often came in tapped, Sanctum is easy to "schedule" to avoid that. Sanctum is the worse topdeck in mid-late, but it's pretty narrow that an unexpected topdeck land coming in tapped matters when you already have at least 3 lands.
