Sideboard

Well, I'm back to Bant once again as my primary standard deck; Naya midrange just wasn't cutting it and blue has a lot more power than red right now. I'm 99% sure this will be the deck I take to the StarCity Open and TCGPlayer States tournaments.

My take on the Prime Speaker Bant deck, tuned for my local shop with Ray of Revelation , Psychic Spiral, and Terminus. I'm currently trying out Memory's Journey instead of the usual Rest in Peace or Purify the Grave . It typically places in the top 3 every week, my best match-up being an American Control deck that we seem to trade wins with every time we go against each other. I took out an Alchemist's Refuge and swapped in a third Cavern of Souls just for my games against him.

Clone is an absolute powerhouse, especially when paired with Restoration Angel. I honestly can't figure out why more people don't run it mainboard.

My hardest match ups are hyper aggro decks such as Naya Humans and Naya Blitz. My brother is running a take on the Boros Champions deck that easily overwhelms me and Faith's Shield completely shuts me down when he swings in with a Sublime Archangel paired with a Silverblade Paladin for a boatload of damage. I took out the two Selesnya Charms I was running for an AEtherize and Cyclonic Rift. I'll report back if they work or not.
