Loving the changes! I've always wanted to see her as a Doomsday commander.
Although, you might want to check your primer!

kaboomeow: Thanks! I'm liking them as well. I would like you to know that mmcgeach is the innovator of the Doomsday Breya list; my list is based off of his.
As far as the Primer goes, I am currently working on it and will hopefully have it updated by next weekend, if not sooner.

Hi Guerte, this is looking pretty good... almost like Breya Ad naus :)
Some points:
Chain of Vapor is an arbitrary removal card; it removes any permanent that's preventing us from doing stuff (like, Stony Silence). Also you can net mana with it by targeting rocks before you bounce your real target. I sometimes think about cutting it, but it's so strong and versatile I have to remind myself it sometimes wins games basically by itself.
Faithless Looting isn't card advantage; it's card filtering and selection, which is good. But running a lot of these effects is why the deck wants some actual net positive card draw, like windfall, thirst, wheel, night's whisper, etc. Otherwise the whole deck is selection and card disadvantage tutors and card disadvantage filters, which means we kind of run out of cards and then can't use Frantic Search in the doomsday pile.
City of Brass and Mana Confluence don't help in the dragon combo, cause they do damage. They're just great cards. Cavern of Souls on the other hand, will produce all 4 colors during a dragon combo. Also every creature in the deck is a human, so this card is a boss.
The classic turn 1 win is: command tower, dark ritual, entomb, animate dead. You then need some other instant to bin a creature, like intuition or possibly izzet charm to kill someone's elf.
I don't think the late game is as bad as you imagine. Or as unlikely. Usually in cEDH, people try to go off but stop each other. Then the game goes long. Our late game is an opportunity to set up a larger combo like Notion Thief + Wheel of Fortune; or a combo protected by Grand Abolisher and facilitated by Pull from Eternity.
Also not sure if this is really an "Artifact deck" anymore, since you're only running 13 artifacts (my list has slightly more). The artifact hate you have to worry about is the kind that prevents you from combo'ing, like Null Rod or Stony Silence. Also Linvala, Keeper of Silence and Cursed Totem.
Not sure I'd describe it as a glass cannon deck, either. We play a lot of value cards (necropotence, wheels, notion thief, dark confidant, baby jace, yawgmoth's will, mystic remora), these can fuel our competitiveness into the late game.
And finally, you should probably credit me somewhere. Particularly for the lab-man doomsday piles, those are my inventions.

mmcgeach: I added a thank you towards the bottom. But really, thank you for your help. Without lists like yours, I'd still be playing a much slower Breya deck.

Guerte: The deck looks much improved. My only quibble is that you still are not using Winds of Change. Having access to winds would make the deck more resilient as you would have proactive protection for your combos which is often necessary with Breya.

Lilbrudder: I did use it for a while, but I just wasn't a fan of it. I realize it can be played earlier than some other cards and can disrupt everyone with Notion Thief out, but I haven't found it necessary yet. I will definitely keep it in mind in case I do end up needing it.

Hi, I have a question, when You use Intuition ant the opponent puts Auriok Salvagers in the graveyard, how do You start the Bomberman combo? Do You use one of reanimation enchantments or is there any easier way?

If Auriok Salvagers touches the graveyard then you do have to use a reanimation spell. Intuition is, generally, for completing your combo if you have part of it or a reanimation spell in hand.
For example: You have Animate Dead/Reanimate/Dance of the Dead in hand but no combo pieces. You Intuition for Salvagers, Lion's Eye Diamond, and anything else (protection). Generally speaking, players will put either the third card or Salvagers in your hand (can be a viable move if the opponent can look at your board and see you have no way of creating 4WW the next turn. This slows you down the most if they have reasonable suspicion of recursion being in-hand). If they put Salvagers in the graveyard, then you win for the cost of 2WB. If they put Diamond in your hand, then you win for the cost of 1B.

jstroud08 The talismans tap if you play them with a sol ring on turn one, and can tap by themselves. It always feels bad to have untapped signets but no other mana sources. The damage is a downside, but if you don't explicitly need the colored mana, you can just tap for colorless.

hi, what do you think of Sunscorched Desert with Worldgorger Dragon combo?
August 2, 2017 3:27 p.m.
heartofwolf Guerte is on a hiatus, he'll be back hopefully before too long. IMO I think that's pretty good. But, I don't really know as much about this deck as I do his others.

Hi Guerte,
I totally felt in love with Breya Doomsday build. I've created deck basing on your list but my meta prefers Leviathan over standard EDH. We are playing 1v1 and 2v2. So bad thing is that cards like Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal, Sensei's Divining Top and Mox Diamond are banned. This is a huge disadvantage for Breya but I still want to play it. I would be very thankful for any comments and help on my deck:
Thank You!

I see that you changed out the George combo for dramatic reversal and several other changes. Would you mind explaining the big changes?
September 9, 2018 9:47 a.m.
Deadman5six: I took out the George combo as it was too fragile. It was essentially an all-in combo that could be easily disrupted. I decided to add it the Dramatic/Scepter combo with Aetherflux Reservoir as an easy storm win, and also Demonic Consultation to win even easier. So far it has been working out really well.

Guerte is this the final draft of the deck ? I've been lowkey following you for some time on this deck and I'm just getting really into a cedh play group. I'd love to know more about the new card choices and interactions.

Deadman5six: I’m not 100% certain this is going to be the final draft of the deck, but it is what I will be playing on MTGO to work out any kinks it may have.
I will also be working on updating the primer in the meantime as well. I’ll be working on the MTG Salvation version first, and then port it over to here.

I am uncertain about the flux combo, please keep updated. I’ve been personally building this IRL for the past year or so. I really liked the worldgorger combo I already run scepter and paradox engine as substitutes for cards I do not have. I’ve poured a lot of time and money building the slightly cheaper version of this masterpiece. I was kinda sad to see it has changed, yet I expect it to be for a good reason. So please let us know how much better the reservoir / scepter combo is than worldgorger. I just loved using most if not all the raised dead enchantments either for card advantage or getting a countered salvager back. I am still planning on slowly buying this deck IRL next big buy being a scrubland and few other lands for mana fixing. Cards are not cheap, that’s a fact. Big fan, get a chance and check out what pieces I’ve already acquired. Link Here Yes I did throw you shout outs for the master build! Thanks again, biggest fan. AdiabetikKid

Not a breya player asking, just a dude who follows cEDH, why the exclusion of Timetwister?

Dark Petition is quite nice with Doomsday. Is there a reason why it isn't in the list?
October 31, 2018 12:36 p.m.
This is a great list, excited to read when the primer is fully added. Would you say that adding white gives you an advantage over other Consult decks like Kess? Does this deck still occupy a grindy midrange spot?
Also may want to consider Drannith Magistrate, seems like that is a must-answer threat for cheap.

That's pretty hilarious.
The best instant-speed one I had was animating Worldgorger Dragon using Necromancy during my own upkeep in response to a Tangle Wire trigger. I had a Prophetic Prism in play so I drew 80 cards and produced 240 mana during upkeep, played a bunch of instants, including Izzet Charm to discard a Snapcaster Mage and moved the Necromancy over to snappy. Went to my main phase with an overflowing grip; cast Animate Dead on the WGD and was done.
