So happy to have you back man, I hope this deck will one day be pimped to it's former glory :)

SnowCoveredPlainswalker: It’s definitely great to be back! I would love for it to return to its former glory, but unfortunately, I don’t see that happening again anytime soon. I still don’t play enough to justify spending a huge amount of money like I did before (which is why the Workshop and Bazaar are currently Mountains).

Well if you're still on MTGO, I can try to get you on some of Commander Replay's videos? Me and him aren't super tight but we talk enough, maybe I can make it happen?

SnowCoveredPlainswalker: I’m currently not since I’ve transitioned back to paper, but I may have to since I haven’t gotten many games in. Gotta find me a consistent playgroup; everyone seems to want to draft.
I’ve talked to him before, but unless it’s random or I become a patreon, not sure if I’d get in to play him.

Glad to see you active with the deck again!
I wanted to pick your brain about the list a bit.
How often do you get a Blightsteel kill? Since it will never touch the graveyard you can never cheat it in with a Welder or Daretti activation.
If your meta called for it, where do you think you'd fit in a Tormod's Crypt and/or Defense Grid? Crypt is the big one for me. I definitely need some graveyard hate in my playgroup.
I see you're running Blinkmkoth and Inkmoth Nexus. How often do you find yourself using them as targets for Goblin Welder or Daretti? Do you think it's worth running Mishra's Factory as well?
Lastly, with the increase in basics, does Endless Atlas have a place? It seems like that'd work pretty will with an Unwinding Clock in play.
Thanks for the effort you've put into the deck, and welcome back!

Driemer84: I’m really glad to be back. I just hope I can get some games in on paper instead of just on MTGO.
1) So, I honestly haven’t gotten Blightsteel out in quite a while. I draw into it frequently, but always end up pitching it to Daretti, and I rarely tutor for it with Forgemaster. I’m currently testing the deck without it in there, so I will have to let you know. At the moment, I’m leaning towards cutting it.
2) It depends on what your meta is like since they do different things. I’ve played Defense Grid before. I would replace a utility artifact with it personally; not sure what your list is like, but anything that isn’t part of a winning combo should be an option.
3) I actually played a game last night where welding an Inkmoth Nexus helped me towards getting a win. I had Unwinding Clock out with Basalt Monolith and Oracle’s Vault. I cast a Sculpting Steel to copy the Monolith, but it was countered. So I activated Inkmoth, sacked it to bring back Steel and copy Monolith, then cast a Karn Liberated to exile their Commander (Ramos). It definitely came in handy. Factory could be good as it can become a 3/3 blocker. I may give it a try vs Kher Keep sometime.
4) I haven’t had the opportunity to try out Atlas, but it could definitely be a good source of card draw for the deck. My paper copy currently plays 20 Mountains since I don’t own Workshop/Bazaar, but I may end up adding back the fetches (still not 100% sure on that yet), but 16 should still be plenty basics.

I think Meteor Golem is a great filler for the Blightsteel spot. Another Spine of Ish Sah effect is perfect, and this one actually stays in the graveyard to be welded back in.
I also like your suggestion of Mishra’s Factory in the Kher Keep spot.
Sequestered Stash is something I’m trying in the Bazaar spot.

Guerte: You've taken your #4 spot back... for now! ;)
January 24, 2019 1:49 p.m.
Driemer84: Meteor Golem can definitely find its way in here; I just didn’t have the room for him. I did test him out at one point. Spine of Ish Sah is superior than him just because it goes back to your hand if it goes to the graveyard. Currently, this is what I’m testing:

Daedalus19876: I’m gonna do my best to keep that spot too! Lol.January 24, 2019 2:45 p.m.
Daedalus19876: Technically, I think it would be #5, since Ender666666’s Oloro deck has 720, but for some reason, it’s out of order?
I’m not counting the Commander Adventures thing either.

Guerte: Fair enough! The sorting algorithm is wonky on this site. And yeah, I'm not counting that Commander Adventures thing either; it's not a real deck.

Hey Guerte, I was doing some tweaking of the list and wondered if you had considered Thaumatic Compass Flip over Maze of Ith? Also, does Electrodominance have a spot here? It doesn’t really fit thematically, but it seems like powerful card.
February 1, 2019 10:56 p.m.
Driemer84: Compass over Ith could possibly be a good switch. Ith takes up a land slot, but doesn’t produce mana. Compass can help get us lands, whether to play or discard, but will also produce mana once flipped. Hmm...could be worth considering!
In all honesty, if I was going to play a card like that, I would rather play Comet Storm . With infinite mana, it just ends the game.

On a side note, I have created a discord server just for Daretti! I’m still working on getting things set up, but I’m opening it up for people to join and discuss all things Daretti! Just follow the link below:

How are you guys seeing this leaderboard, I would like to see where I am on it :D
March 4, 2019 9:56 a.m.
Inkmoth: If you go to deck search, filter it by the commander format, and the sort is by Score (Descending). That will more or less give you the overall deck rankings.
You can filter further by commanders as well as a few other filters.

Hey! I'm liking the increased stax and lock down with Tangle Wire, Stranglehold, and Ensnaring Bridge.
If you have time, do you mind explaining some of your cuts and how you usually win games? I see Slobad, Forgemaster, quicksmith Genius, and a few others are gone. I've been messing around with the list, and it's great at stopping people from doing things, but I find it can be difficult to close out the game. I had people shut out with a Static Orb for awhile a few games ago, but I couldn't find a threat and ended up getting knocked out.

I built this deck after seeing this a while back, still my best EDH deck, and most enjoyable to play!

I got a game in the other night and won off back Karn, Silver Golem and Memory Jar. An opponent had a Tormod's Crypt in play so I activated Karn to force the issue. In response to them activating crypt I was able to save Rings of Brighthearth with Goblin Welder. Then I cracked Memory Jar and found Basalt Monolith, Mycosynth Lattice, and Vandalblast to end the game. It was pretty fun to wheel into the combo like that.
What are your thoughts on Pirate's Pillage, Slobad, and Thaumatic Compass? I know I had asked about compass in a previous comment, but I don't have a Lion's Eye Diamond and was thinking about running a Tormod's Crypt of my own in it's place because grave hate is pretty powerful in my meta.
Is Pirate's Pillage worth it at 4 mana? Technically you get half back or an artifact to welder or Daretti away, but with such a lower land count it's rarely something I can do early. Is Cathartic Reunion better at half the mana? Do we even need more than Tormenting Voice and Faithless Looting with a very similar ability tacked on to our general?
I noticed you cut Slobad, but having another sac outlet besides Krak-Clan Ironworks seems useful to prevent your artifacts from being exiled, or just to get one into the graveyard to recycle with Daretti or Welder.
Compass I'm still not sure about. It's cheap enough to cast, but it ties up 3 mana if you want to activate it. I like that it guarantees land drops, but it's not always ideal to activate and isn't the easiest to flip.
Thanks for any feedback!

Why cut the Chaos Wand from [[Primer]] - Daretti - Degenerate Artifacts ? I understand that in some meta's it's not the best, but with an unwinding clock and a few rocks you cast a shit ton of spells for free from other decks and I have won games off of this! Guerte

No love for Loyal Apprentice? Makes flying blockers and fodder for Daretti.

I recommend Liquimetal Coating with Goblin Welder , Clock of Omens on the field and Myr Battlesphere in the grave allows you make infinite 1/1s, infinite recur of any artifacts you have and infinite untap of any artifacts you have and with Grinding Station it's really good. I've started using Metalwork Colossus as it's usually a 4 mana 10/10 that can save your artifacts from exile!

I've always loved Daretti as a card, and I always wanted to make an EDH with him! This is simply inspiring, exept for one thing: The price tag! Do you have and suggestions on what cards are the least significant to the deck that I could cut to make a more budget version?

Ancestral Statue is also a really broken card with paradox engine

So, if I decide the Tron lands aren’t worth it, these are the ones I’m thinking of putting in their place:
