SmokeyBear15: Hey! Thanks for the +1! Glad you like the deck. I would be happy to answer your questions, and any more you may have.
1) Basalt Monolith is always used. It's there for the ramp, of course. It's also there for sac fodder. It is also there for infinite combos (mana, card draw, etc.). It will always have use, one way or another. Dreamstone Hedron is too high costed if you ask me. Yes, it will draw you cards, but Hedron Archive is much better. But, it's not a bad choice in a budget build.
2) Codex Shredder isn't really used for the mill. If it's out. I'll use it, but on my opponent. I prefer to know what's going into my graveyard instead of a random flip. It's mainly used as a way to reuse my non-artifacts that have been pitched. It's almost like Recoup, but it affects more than just sorceries, doesn't exile them after use, and is even recurrable.
3) Staff of Nin has been in and out of my deck quite often. At the moment, it is replacing Mind's Eye, as it is a guaranteed extra card with no mana requirements. It can also go infinite with Voltaic Key, Rings of Brighthearth, and infinite mana. It's definitely been doing some work.
4) Trading Post is another card that's been in and out for quite some time. It's not a bad card and sees play in most lists. At the time, however, I don't see the need for it.
5) There's quite a few. Infinite slaver lock. Mycosynth Lattice + Vandalblast . Scrap Mastery'ing back a huge graveyard is always fun for me. Lol. For the most part, it's a different win each time I play. There's always the classics tho. :)

Bonehoard doesn't make any sense in this deck. Guerte doesn't play many creatures, so Bonehoard would be like 2/2 the most time...

Its_Johnny_Bravo: I appreciate the suggestion. However, as abzanforever said, it doesn't make sense in this deck. Not so much I don't run many creatures, as it counts creatures in all graveyards, but it doesn't necessarily do anything for the deck. My creatures don't need the buff. Most of the time, I don't even win by creatures. Lightning Greaves is the only equipment that has any use, as it grants haste and shroud, and works very well with Goblin Welder to protect him.

Know what would be an oddball inclusion, but hilarious AND possibly useful if you are forced to take an aggro route to win?

Bludgeon Brawl would in fact be hilarious in any artifact deck. "I've had enough of you, I'm just gonna beat you with my Darksteel Forge now." That's just silly. I love it.

How do you make upvote links in the description and stuff?

Drael - Eldritch rites, and Sangromancy...
It's a script. Don't have the exact code though atm...
April 11, 2016 3:23 a.m.
Drael: I've got the code for you. For some reason, I can't post it here. Once I figure out how to do so, I will give it to you.
April 11, 2016 11:01 a.m.
Drael: You can also right click on the Upvote button on the sidebar and go to inspect. From there, you can copy the element and you can put that code into your deck description.
It will be an exact copy of the button on the side; if you want a customizable button like mine, still trying to figure out how to share that code.

Geez... and here I thought I was a Daretti player myself..but that pimpage tho...I'm not worthy! And this page out-and-out decimates mine, although my Jhoira deck page might fare better...How did you get those collapsible links to work? I had to give up on that cause it was killing me inside.
Anyways, suggestion wise, Stranglehold maybe? Honestly, this is probably the most soild non-stax Daretti I've ever seen so there's not much I could add to the conversation. I approve, obviously the community approves, and, most importantly, Temmie approves.

Stranglehold is nice for the library searching prevention, which stops your opponents from getting answers to you're growing problematic board state. Ugin's Nexus works for the extra turns part (and can even be used for multiple extra turns yourself via Mirrorworks shenanigans), in addition to being an artifact.
This deck does have Wheel of Fortune and Memory Jar that could be used to interrupt tutors, but that's not quite as good as preventing searching at all. I feel that Stranglehold would be something to work in iff the meta had a lot of annoying tutoring and extra turns happening.

That's the code for the customizable button. Hope it helps!
Cyberninja16: Thanks! Glad you like it! For the collapsible links, it's a series of accordions and panels. I can get you a blank copy if you wish. As far as Stranglehold goes, it was in an earlier version of the deck. Around my area, not many people play extra turns, but they do search their libraries quite often, so it could find it's way back in here. Thanks!
SmokeyBear15: Unfortunately, there are no shenanigans with Mirrorworks. Yes, you can get a copy and it will get sent to the GY due to SBEs, giving you an extra turn. However, with the original Ugin's Nexus out, it will prevent you from taking it, unless you have a way to sac it. Then, you would get the two extra turns, and that's it. If you want infinite extra turns, you would need to go with Prototype Portal and a sac outlet.

Yeah if it's not too much trouble, I would love to learn that code. If its alot of stuff you can copy/paste it on my wall that way it won't clog up your comments.
Oh three things though:
I'm sure you've thought about Extraplanar Lens + Snow-Covered Mountain what made you go for Gauntlet of Might instead?
I like Squee, Goblin Nabob ,but considering we're willing to pitch a vast majority of our decks in the yard, I eventually dropped him for an extra card slot, was I not giving him enough credit? Is he really that good?
Srsly tho, I'm super jelly about that pimpage. Go tuck yourself...oh wait that doesn't work anymore, damn it!
April 12, 2016 8:11 p.m.
Cyberninja16: I'll just put it in a spoiler for you here.
The loss of a land is why I don't run Extraplanar Lens. If it gets removed and I need to recur it, I lose a land each time. With Gauntlet of Might, I don't lose anything, and it also buffs the few red creatures we have.
Squee, Goblin Nabob is easily one of my favorite cards in here. With him, you're essentially drawing two cards per turn, and gives you a blocker every turn if you're in a bit of a bind. He's always what I tutor for first with Imperial Recruiter.
Thank you! I definitely spent a lot of time getting everything like it is. My Bazaar of Baghdad alter is almost finished so I can't wait to add that. And if I do add Stranglehold, I'll need to get that altered as well. Lol.

What are your thoughts on Mogg Infestation as an alternate wrath effect?
April 13, 2016 11:46 a.m.
This build does not seem to have really ways to protect your grave? I am slowly collecting the pieces for this specific deck but I feel tempted to add the old Eldrazi Titans to protect my yard. :/ Hmm...
April 13, 2016 12:31 p.m.
SVHowdy: I don't like it. Even tho they are only 1/1s, we don't want to be giving them any creatures; we want them all gone.
Ainiv: I personally don't like the Eldrazi Titans in here. We use our graveyard as a resource so we need stuff in it; they take it and put it all back. If we get hit with graveyard hate, we can still make a comeback, it just takes a bit more.

I get that you don't want to shuffle your graveyard, but Kozilek, Butcher of Truth is honestly too good to pass up. It's one of the few good ways of drawing multiple cards in this deck, and it seems like a fine threat on its own. Yeah, your opponents will kill it on sight, but is that really a reason to pass up on this one? Yeah, sometimes it might shuffle away your valuable grave, but is that really a compelling reason to pass up on this card?

Hey there, I've been following your deck for a while. I run a Daretti deck of my own that I'm a fan on, and I'm gonna ask some pointed questions about yours to see if i can work on mine. Fair warning, it's budget limited: Junkyard Party
1) Does Basalt Monolith, etc every sit there untapped and unusable? It would be good for early ramping for sure, but unless you've got Clock of Omens out.... And I'm guessing you prefere Thran Dynamo over Dreamstone Hedron.
2) Talk to me about Codex Shredder. It's there to fill your graveyard with potential things to fetch out, right? I like the idea, but is it really really worth the card slot?
3) How's Staff of Nin working for you? It feels like it'd be worth it for the extra card draw.
4) I'm a big fan of Trading Post. It's very versatile, for both card draw, and pulling things out of the graveyard. Also, I noticed that you don't have a whole lot of different ways to get things out of your graveyard. I count 4 excluding Daretti... is he enough for you?
5) What's your most frequent win-con? Not best or favorite (okay, tell us those, too), but the one that you can rely on most.
Anyways, thanks for such thorough answers to everything. You've got a bunch of the cards that make me salivate (Crucible of Worlds, I'm talking to you). +1.
