Great deck, it's low to the ground and fast. I adapted this list to fit with my collection and now have a cheaper version of this deck.

My Marchesa

I've played like 5 games and i think i won 4 of them. One on the back of Breena counters, another in a war of attrition with all the "fog" effects until a big Inkshield happened and a couple getting to a 1v1 and outresource my opponent with card draw and/or Rakdos's Return.

The thing is, every spell feels very relevant and when they think they got you... they don't.

DrunkT - nice list. I like High Priest of Penance and Righteous Aura is always solid.

This is such a beautiful decklist. Can't wait to deflecting palm my playgroup's Aetherflux Reservoir !

As you run Solemnity in the deck, did you consider running Dark Depths, as well? It definitely is another "dead" land not producing any mana like Maze of Ith but can be a massive beater. Probably not in the mindset of the deck to be a threat,

unwucht - yes, it has been in the list in the past just for fun as a surprise threat. It's not very good but it certainly is unexpected and can synergize with a number of other cards we might run.

An additional remark: while playing the list I realized that I like to have an additional, Sunforger-fetchable counterspell in the deck. Therefore I currently plan to include Lapse of Certainty into the list. Playing this deck often comes down to a single decisive spell resolving or not resolving. Therefore some fetchable counterspells can do wonders, even if Lapse only delays the spell from resolving this round.

Also, hardly anyone expects to run into a white counterspell :P

unwucht - there is tibalt's trickery as well, which is also better, if you missed it. i used to run pyroblast / lapse of certainty but trickery took the slot when it was released.

White received some decent love in Commander Legends Battle for Baldurs Gate. Are you considering Deep Gnome Terramancer and Archivist of Oghma for this deck?

unwucht - yes, as well as Black Market Connections. Black Market connections along with Deep Gnome Terramancer have just been added to my paper list (my moxfield list is kept most up to date, just cuz its easier - link at the top of the primer)

This list is mostly for posterity / exposure - but my list on Moxfield always matches my current paper list. This list only occasionally gets updated to reflect my paper list.
