wanted to say also, I see your deck has very little removal, how do you deal with problematic creatures like linvala keeper of silence or things of that nature? I would recommend at least running a swords to plowshares at minimum

shadowmage for the most part I can out pace most problems.

As for linvala herself I can't think of too many competitive decks running it maybe Stax but the most common one playing at tournaments now is urza and it's mono blue.

Some people are trying Lavinia lockout but again mostly I just outpaced it.

I felt like it helped my opponents too much it was in here at one time but I had to pull it out.

Makes sense, i only use it when i plan to/can win that turn. Otherwise it's a dead card to me for that very reason.

Only thing I recommend at a glance is Veil of Summer and the Moxes.

I feel like these cards are kind of excessive Burgeoning , Exploration , Land Tax . Any reason why you run these with a landbase with only 31 lands? Not shooting it down or something it just seems to me you would not realy be able to keep on ramping and could use these slot for a better card. Even if you would keep on getting lands with the parley.

Redundancy. Land tax for deck thinning. And the other two to be able to play the extra lands.

skyhaven in Selvala any way to get rid of lands is key, you never want to parley a land.

Have you ever found the need for mill protection, such as Kozilek, Butcher of Truth ? Has and opponent having mill protection ever thwarted your win? Just curious.

Orc I'm not sure how someone having Mill protection would help them. Because I'm having them draw their deck out on a single turn. If by some chance a player at the table is able to discard their hand with a Shuffle effect it should not matter, at that point I have infinite Mana and my entire deck in my hand And I win through some other means

And I'm not quite sure how this deck plays against mill I know there's the new guy(double Mill) but as I play this deck more competitively, Mill is not a strategy usually seen.

So I guess I can't give you a straight answer until I play against it and to be honest with everything going on who knows when that'll be.

Homelessguy I’m thinking of decks with mill protection, such as The Gitrog Monster , that generally already have a discard outlet on the table or a way to flash one in—-sorry, I should have been more clear. In my mind the two often go hand in hand.

Altar of Bone is a second, sorcery-speed Eladamri's Call that costs you a creature. Might be useful.

Orc as a fellow Selvala player with a youtube video up to explain more ((channel commandergoose)) im pretty sure if someone has mill protection in play you may draw into removal by that point, and in response to the flash in he is trying to win after Grand Abolisher is already in play, if it is not in play you just continue forcing everyone to draw. How it works is, you tap Selvala with Umbral Mantle, then in response to the +1/+1 counter being on the stack you quickly untap her, then tap again. By doing it this way your opponents my not respond until you stop, and allow all of the counters to hit Selvala at once. Usually i go until i hit Angels Grace, and removal, or protection Selvala is not milling, but drawing.

+1 cool deck. Curious how city of solitude plays. Do you only play it when you're gonna win?

Profet93 yep. Good card to pull out a counter spell as well.

As a fellow Selvala, Explorer Returned player, i wanted to know what your thoughts on Trelasarra, Moon Dancer were. I for one plan on putting her in my cEDH deck, seems like she was made for Selvala.

davidsays1 I want to play with it, I really do. It's just that, I don't know what I should cut for it. I'm playing around with different slots until something feels right.
