Couple of thoughts off the top of my head:
Demolish costs 1 less than Frenzied Tilling and can go after enchantments like Whip of Erebos as well. You don't get the extra land though.
Ratchet Bomb could help deal with aggro decks that have low costing creatures.
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx might help gain mana faster since your creatures are almost all green, although it might not work due to them all increasing devotion by one.
Magma Jet might help sift through cards you don't want as well as help with control.
Just a few ideas I could think of right now. Hope they help!

Well, I'm still enjoying playing this a lot, and it seems to deal quite well with most of the variations on mono-black devotion I've seen. It's particularly effective when the opponent has used Underworld Connections to boost their devotion, as I can just destroy the land for a 2-for-1. The extra couple of Temple of Abandon that I've acquired have helped a lot - I really like the scry lands. Just need one more of those now and still chasing 1 more Xenagos, The Reveler and 2 more Sylvan Caryatid . Also thinking of dropping 2 of the Voyaging Satyr in favour of 2 x Bramblecrush in the maindeck. It will help deal with things like Whip of Erebos and speed the land destruction thing along a bit. At the moment, I tend to feel slightly disappointed when I draw the Voyaging Satyr , which is usually a sign that it shouldn't be there!

Thanks SonicKaos! I figured with the Sylvan Caryatid and Voyaging Satyr in there, Frenzied Tilling made more sense than Demolish . The extra land is useful for when I monstrosify Ember Swallower . Know what you mean about the Whip of Erebos though, so I'm considering maindecking a couple of Bramblecrush to help with that. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx is a neat idea, but I find my board presence is usually limited to a couple of creatures at a time, so I wouldn't get much value out of it. Ratchet Bomb would go very well in the sideboard I think - if I can get hold of some without too much hassle I might replace the 4 x Fade into Antiquity . They were there for the gods, but as most people have found you can pretty much just ignore those a lot of the time.

Sylvan Primordial is another great card you could put in here. A guy at my LGS played a R/G land destruction deck pre-rotation that used Conjurer's Closet to blink Sylvan Primordial and Acidic Slime , there wasn't a single FNM he didn't win.

I like it but try to add some more ramp .. add 4x demolish for more Ld ...4 embers are too much try it with 2-3 then you dont have to add so much lands :) it works for me with 18 lands just fine

Try Axebane Guardian for more ramp and Chandra, Pyromaster for -7 x3 Demolish look At my LANDBLASTER5000 for some more ideas :)

Why Golden Hind instead of Elvish Mystic ? Mystic comes out sooner and hind just clashes with your caryatid early play.
Otherwise looks good! I'd like to test this deck.

I dont know how effective Nissa, Worldwaker will be with you destroying your own lands due to Ember Swallower , but id think about putting the Elvish Mystic back or replacing that and your Arbor Colossus for Nessian Wilds Ravager for some removal or a 12/12. almost immediately.

or better yet, since your deck has it in the name, why not play 2 Primeval Bounty instead for a bit of advantage just for playing things? you cast a creature, get a creature, destroy a land, make a creature bigger, play a land, gain some life. seems like it could be good in your deck.

This actually worked out pretty well in the end. Went 3 for 2 at Theros Game Day and scooped me a couple of boosters, which was nice. Think my opponents had a good time playing it as well, which can't be something often said about a land destruction deck. In the end, the land destruction bit only worked infrequently, but the deck seems to work on a few different levels. Have tweaked it a little bit in light of the games I've played with it, but no major changes really. Next mission is to acquire another 3 x Temple of Abandon and a third Xenagos, The Reveler - then I'll be happy with it I think.
