How about Narcomoeba?

Just for the record, Rest in Peace doesn't have an ETB trigger. You can't respond to it, your graveyard gets exiled before you get a chance to interact.

awphutt the card literally says "when it enters the battlefield". In legacy you often see a stifle on the ability.

Correct. Rest in Peace has etb "exile all cards from all graveyards." Which goes on the stack. This can be responded to by flashing back Ray of Revelation. This goes on the stack, players pass priority. Assuming no countermagic, Ray resolves and destroys RiP. Ray exiles for flashback clause. RiP goes to the grave and its trigger resolves exiling all cards in all graveyards (including itself).

You are correct Ender666666. I've been experiencing issues trying to get the color to stick to the form button. In my browser it's been defaulting whenever I reload the page. I copied and pasted form code from a button I knew was working just to verify but neglected to put this back in. This has been rectified.

Thanks for taking a look at the deck EpicFreddi. I like narcomoeba and played around with it in earlier builds. Having scaled out 4-color and dropped blue to go jund it's less savory to me. If I end up with it in the hand I have no way to cast it and discarding it from hand gains no advantage. Amalgam, whilst still blue, doesn't suffer from the caveat of being discarded from the hand (and has a bigger body).

Yup, I'm super wrong. My bad.

Considering changes for the sideboard. Have already gone -2x Ray of Revelation -1x Godless Shrine for 3x Golgari Charm. Reconsidering going with this loadout though:
2x Darkblast: Good against aggro and fast combo enablers (i.e. Viscera Seer)
2x Lightning Axe Good answer to bigger threats like Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
3x Abrupt Decay: Generic catch-call answer
3x Ancient Grudge: Artifact graveyard hate
2x Golgari Charm: Good against aggro swarm/tokens, destroys problematic enchantments, protects against (most) boardwipes
3x Gnaw to the Bone:Good against aggro and burn

I think Demigod of Revenge could be pretty good in dredge decks.

Hey Javaz, thanks for looking at my deck. Demigod of Revenge is an interesting card, but the CMC is a bit too high for aggro dredge. I usually only have 2-3 lands and dredge away the rest while relying on cheap creatures like Gravecrawler, Insolent Neonate and Rotting Rats to trigger Vengevine and Prized Amalgam. I could see it being really good in a more mid-range/controlling dredge matchup, though I'm not sure what that shell would look like. I imagine Jund-type removal package using Liliana of the Veil to discard the demigods and then eventually cast one and bring others back, though I'm not sure I wouldn't rather just play Jund at that point. :)

If you want, you can check out my dredge version with Demigods of Revenge.

May 24, 2016 7:42 a.m.

Hey Huck101, I've taken a look at Demigod of Revenge. It can fly and has haste, but going a more aggro route, I can get Vengevine out as early as T2, and fairly reliably T3-T4 so that it typically won't matter much about my opponent's boardstate. Demigod does have 4 toughness so it doesn't die to bolt, but in order to get it back in multiples it does require committing 5 mana to do so, and still does die to Path to Exile. The idea behind this deck is to swarm return and force the opponent to have enough removal for it to even matter.

Understandable and I can agree on that aspect as well. The version I play does run Crypt of Agadeem so it's possible to have a Demigod or more to be hitting in the air turn three. Not as fast though so obviously it has it's pitfalls. Thanks for responding though and really do like the list.

The mana base would flow a lot better with a steam vents, stomping ground and a watery grave in there.

Thanks for looking at the deck ObsInc. In the original 4 color build with Hedron Crab, there were blue sources. I dropped the crabs, and at that point, the Prized Amalgam are the only thing with blue. They're reanimated with recursion of any number of creatures coming back from the grave so I never hardcast them. I have plenty of outlets to dump them into the grave, so it's almost never a problem.
